The Ministry of Information and Communications has revised and supplemented guidelines on job positions in the field of information and communications.

(Mic.gov.vn) - On March 29, 2024 , the Ministry of Information and Communications issued Circular No. 01/2-24/TT-BTTTT amending and supplementing the appendix attached to Circular No. 08/2023/TT-BTTTT dated July 28, 2023, of the Minister of Information and Communications guiding the job positions for leadership and management positions and professional titles of specialized civil servants, the structure of civil servants by professional title in public non-business units under the information and communications sector, and Circular No. 09/2023/TT-BTTTT dated July 28, 2023, of the Minister of Information and Communications guiding the job positions of specialized professional civil servants in information and communications in agencies and organizations under the information and communications sector.

The Circular clearly outlines the amendments and additions to the guidelines on leadership and management positions and professional titles for specialized civil servants, and the structure of civil servants by professional title in public non-profit units under the Information and Communications sector, specifically as follows:

Replace the phrase “General application of professional titles in the journalism field” with the phrase “General application of job positions for civil servants in the journalism field” in Section II of Appendix III; Add the phrase “information security” after the phrase “Information technology field” in the title of Section III of Appendix III; Replace the phrase “General application of professional titles in the science and technology field” with the phrase “General application of job positions for civil servants in the science and technology field” in Section IV of Appendix III...

In addition, the Circular also clarifies the amendments and additions to the guidelines on job positions for professional civil servants in the specialized field of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in agencies and organizations belonging to the ICT sector, such as:

Replace certain content in the job description for the Senior Telecommunications Management Specialist position at item number 31, Section VII, Appendix II; Replace the content in the job description for the Principal Telecommunications Management Specialist position at item number 32, Section VII, Appendix II; Replace the content in the job description for the Telecommunications Management Specialist position at item number 33, Section VII, Appendix II.

This Circular shall take effect from March 29, 2024.
