Boeing sees a decline in customers after a series of incidents.

Of that total, Boeing has three orders for 737 MAX jets and eleven other orders for 777 cargo planes.

According to CNN, June saw the company's best sales performance in the first half of 2024, but still a 70% decrease compared to last year.

Boeing only sold 3 passenger aircraft in June 2024.

In the second quarter of 2024 alone, Boeing delivered 92 commercial jets, an improvement from the 83 delivered in the first quarter. After accounting for cancelled orders and changes in accounting rules, Boeing's net order was only around 26 aircraft.

The decline in sales stems from Boeing facing numerous investigations and intense scrutiny from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) following the door button malfunction on a Boeing 737 Max 9 aircraft on January 5th. After the incident, Boeing reduced production to meet FAA limits of 38 jets per month and intensified inspection activities.

While Boeing is struggling with sales, its rival Airbus is recording positive results. To date, Boeing has delivered 175 aircraft, fewer than Airbus's 323 in the first half of the year, according to Reuters.
