“In the Vietnam U22 team, I'm closest to Viktor Lê because he can communicate in English and we talk a lot. The striker of Vietnamese and Czech descent had 10 days of training with the Vietnam U22 team. However, the biggest obstacle for Bui Alex was his inability to adapt to the time zone and weather in Hanoi . During this time, he received a lot of support from Viktor Le as well as the other players in the team. The young striker himself hopes to have more time to adapt and become closer to his teammates.
On the afternoon of June 4th, the Vietnam U22 team played an internal match against the Vietnam national team and lost 1-2. Bui Alex didn't score but played energetically. Speaking about the match, he wasn't satisfied with his performance. "I feel my performance in the match against the Vietnam national team wasn't as good as I expected. This was my first match, of course it wasn't bad, but I think I could have done better," Bui Alex assessed.
Today was the final training session for the Vietnam U22 team. The player born in 2005 affirmed that this training camp would be an unforgettable experience for him. The Vietnam U22 team has many talented players in the same position, so Bui Alex always puts in his best effort in training sessions.
"Vietnamese players only play with two touches, which is quite new to me. Players in the Czech Republic don't play football like that, so it's a little difficult for me, but it's okay. I don't know about the future, but for now I still want to play in the Czech Republic. But in the future, if possible, I will return to Vietnam because I like it here," he continued.
Ultimately, Bui Alex expressed his admiration for the V.League, Vietnamese cuisine , and the challenge of adapting to the country's traffic. He hopes to return for the next training camp of the Vietnam U22 team.
