On the afternoon of September 19th, in an interview with Vietnam Business, Mr. Nguyen Linh Da - Deputy General Director of BEDA T&C Joint Stock Company, stated that, in accordance with the investment policy decision of the Bac Lieu Provincial People's Committee, BEDA T&C will implement a mixed-use ecological zone project located in Hiep Thanh Ward, Ca Mau Province, from 2022 to 2030.
Accordingly, BEDA T&C is investing in infrastructure development on an area of over 400 hectares, comprising 10 zones: 5,000 townhouses, villas, parks, a commercial center, a golf course, etc., with a total investment of 22,000 billion VND. This is one of the largest ecological urban areas in the Mekong Delta, boasting a very ideal geographical location.
To the south, bordering the East Sea, there are cool mangrove and nipa palm forests, wind turbines running along the coast with towering blades, and beaches teeming with marine life such as mudskippers, starry gobies, and various bivalve mollusks.
To the north, it borders the Bac Lieu longan orchards, which have been established for over 100 years, and the ancient and secluded Xiêm Cán pagoda along with the Quan Am Buddhist temple (Bà Nam Hải) spiritual tourism area. To the west, it borders the territory of Can Tho City (formerly Soc Trang).
“Upon completion, the tourist complex is expected to attract a large number of visitors from the Mekong Delta provinces, due to the interconnected transportation system from National Highway 1A to the expressway. Currently, the company has almost completed the technical infrastructure and transportation routes within the project and will hand them over to investors in the near future to carry out the construction items as mentioned above,” informed the Deputy General Director of BEDA T&C.
