At the end of the literature exam, the high school graduation exam, the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) had a quick report on the exam on the morning of June 26.

Specifically, the total number of candidates registered for the exam is 1,151,687 with a total of 2,497 exam sites and 49,818 exam rooms.

Of these, the number of candidates taking the exam under the 2018 GeneralEducation Program (new program) is 1,132,284; the number of candidates taking the exam under the 2006 General Education Program (old program) is 19,403.

The number of candidates taking the literature exam was 1,144,477, reaching a rate of 99.37%.

Candidates taking the literature exam in Hanoi

In the high school graduation exam in literature, there were 12 candidates nationwide who violated exam regulations.

Of these, 8-10 candidates were suspended from the exam for using mobile phones, and 2 candidates were suspended from the exam for using documents.

On the morning of June 26, inspecting the exam organization in Vinh Phuc, Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son encouraged candidates and parents to confidently enter the exam.

Candidates taking the literature exam in Hanoi

In Hanoi, the city's Department of Education and Training said that during the literature exam, three candidates in the city violated the regulations by using their phones. The exam sites have handled the violations according to the exam regulations.

To organize this year's high school graduation exam, Hanoi City established 233 exam sites, including 229 exam sites for candidates taking the new program and 4 exam sites for candidates taking the old program. The percentage of candidates taking the new program reached 99.5%; the percentage of candidates taking the old program reached 87.91%.

This afternoon, candidates will take the math exam, lasting 90 minutes.
