Mori Nazuna of the girl group HIGH SPIRITS faced criticism after a video surfaced showing her wearing lingerie in a bar. The Japanese singer subsequently issued an apology.

According to J-cast , Mori Nazuna of the girl group HIGH SPIRITS is becoming the center of controversy in Japan. Previously, a social media account called Deathdol Note, which specializes in exposing scandals in the entertainment industry, shared a clip allegedly showing Mori Nazuna in a karaoke room. Notably, the singer was wearing revealing clothing and engaging in controversial behavior.

Later, the idol posted an apology letter on the X platform to her fans. In her apology, Mori Nazuna admitted to having acted immaturely and impulsively in the past. She wrote: "I apologize for causing worry and distress to many people regarding the video that went viral on social media."

The female idol stated that at the time she was immature in both awareness and morality, leading to thoughtless actions. She also apologized to her fans, group members, and management team.

"Regarding the actions shown in the video, in the past I lacked foresight and maturity in my awareness and morality, so I acted selfishly, only thinking of myself. Looking back, I sincerely regret having acted in ways that people considered inappropriate."

Furthermore, I sincerely apologize for this incident affecting those who have always supported me, the relevant parties, and the members of my group. Honestly, I don't know if any more past events or information will be exposed in the future. However, since deciding to become an idol, I have re-evaluated my actions and thoughts. I will absolutely not do similar things again,” Mori Nazuna wrote.

Mori Nazuna's management company also took steps to encourage her to continue her artistic activities. The company emphasized that past mistakes do not mean a person cannot change or grow in the future. Concluding her letter, Mori Nazuna affirmed that she will not shy away from her past but will confront it to improve herself, and hopes to gradually regain public trust through her upcoming activities.

The J-Pop group HIGH SPIRITS debuted in 2016 and has undergone several lineup changes due to members graduating. Mori Nazuna debuted as a member of the group in January, replacing a graduating member.
