The dispatch stated that due to the impact of storm No. 11, from the morning of October 6 to the end of October 7, in Bac Ninh province, there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain, some places in the eastern part of the province have very heavy rain, high risk of flash floods, landslides in hills, mountains, river banks, streams; flooding in low-lying areas.
On the other hand, due to the impact of rain and floods from storms No. 3; No. 5; No. 9; No. 10, the soil has become saturated with water, creating a very high risk of landslides in hills, mountains and riverside areas, directly threatening people's lives and property.
Therefore, to proactively respond, ensure the safety of people's lives, and minimize property damage caused by storm No. 11, the Department of Agriculture and Environment requests the People's Committees of communes and wards to urgently inspect, review and closely monitor areas at risk of landslides on hills and mountains, especially incidents that have been declared an emergency by the Provincial People's Committee in the communes: Yen Dinh, Tay Yen Tu, Son Dong, Bien Dong, Tan Son, Bien Son, Tuan Dao and Yen Dung ward.
Resolutely prevent people who have evacuated from dangerous areas from returning to their homes to ensure safety. Continue to warn, propagate, strictly prohibit people from living in landslide areas and have plans to relocate and evacuate people and property to ensure safety.
Localities are fully responsible in case of human damage due to subjectivity or negligence. Regularly update information and promptly report incidents (if any) to the Department of Agriculture and Environment.
