Projects to repair and renovate the Provincial Party Committee headquarters and public housing: Progress is being accelerated

The investors of the three projects to repair and renovate the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee headquarters, the official residence and the Provincial Party Committee Guest House are urgently completing documents to speed up the bidding process, select contractors for construction, and put them into operation on schedule.

To arrange offices and official residences for key officials after the province's merger, the locality decided to repair and renovate the Provincial Party Committee office (No. 6 Tran Hung Dao, Nha Trang ward), the Provincial Party Committee Guest House (No. 2 Tran Hung Dao) and official residences managed by the province.

In Decision No. 1620, dated June 12, the Provincial People's Committee approved the Project to Repair and Renovate the Provincial Party Committee's Office. The scale of the repair and renovation of the project includes: Renovation and rearrangement of the internal partition walls of the buildings to create an open working space, maximize the area of ​​the building, ensure a workplace for new employees after the province's merger, including blocks A, B, C, D and auxiliary blocks, technical infrastructure: expanded garage, yard, internal road, underground water tank, gate, fence. At the same time, the project will also replace the floor tiles of the entire project; replace the wall tiles; reprocess the toilets; replace the doors, renovate the internal drainage system, electrical system, fire prevention and fighting system, etc. The total investment for the project is nearly 31 billion VND, of which the construction cost is more than 21 billion VND, the rest is the cost of equipment, project management, construction consultancy, and contingency.

In Decision 1632 dated June 13, the Provincial People's Committee approved the technical and economic report on investment in construction of the project to repair and renovate public housing in the wards of Nha Trang, Nam Nha Trang, and Bac Nha Trang. Specifically, the following apartments will be repaired and renovated: Apartment building 312 Da Tuong (8 units); house number 1 Nguyen Cao Luyen (1 unit); apartment building number 2 Le Hong Phong (3 units); house area number 10 Cuu Long (6 units); house number 52 KA Vinh Tho (16 units); Binh Phu I social housing (4 units). The repair contents include: Roof renovation, replacement of wall tiles, kitchen counter tops, ceilings, floor tiles, bathroom equipment, electrical equipment, repair and renovation of door systems, waterproofing, repainting of all walls and beams; Interior equipment attached to official housing... The project has a total investment of more than 10.3 billion VND, of which construction cost is more than 4.2 billion VND, the rest is equipment cost, project management, construction investment consultancy, and contingency.

In Decision No. 1633, dated June 13, the Provincial People's Committee approved the economic and technical report on investment in the construction of the project to repair and renovate the Provincial Party Committee Guest House. Accordingly, the scale of the repair includes: Renovating and repairing the guest house into 12 closed apartments to arrange for official housing for officials with titles transferred to work after the province's merger, ensuring compliance with standards on usable area and equipment level according to regulations. Specifically: Repairing and renovating tile roofs, reinforced concrete roofs; replacing corrugated iron roofs; replacing plaster ceilings; demolishing existing partition walls and building new partition walls at some locations; replacing baseboard tiles, floor tiles, and lobby tiles; repairing and renovating existing toilets and renovating some toilets; replacing doors and windows; repairing and renovating railings and stairs; renewing electrical systems, water supply - drainage, communications, and fire prevention and fighting; Interior equipment attached to the official residence... Total construction investment is more than 15.6 billion VND, of which construction cost is more than 8.8 billion VND, the rest is equipment cost, project management, construction consultancy, and contingency.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hien - Director of the Provincial Development Project Management Board (project investor) said that the Project for Repairing and Renovating the Provincial Party Committee Guest House and Official House has completed the approval of the technical economic report, is conducting bidding to select contractors for construction and supervision packages; is expected to start construction in early August and be completed and put into use by the end of October. For the Project for Repairing and Renovating the Provincial Party Committee Office, the approval of the feasibility study report has been completed, capital allocation for the investment implementation phase has been arranged; is conducting bidding to select consulting packages for preparing construction drawings and estimates; the expected time for completing bidding to select contractors for construction and supervision packages and starting construction is early October; the project will be completed and put into operation before December 31, 2025.
