On the evening of September 3rd, in an interview with a reporter from Giao Thong Newspaper, Mr. Hoang Thanh Son, Head of the Culture and Information Department of Cua Lo Town ( Nghe An province), stated that during the National Day holiday on September 2nd, 2024, the number of visitors to Cua Lo increased significantly compared to the same period last year.
During the four-day National Day holiday, Cua Lo beach welcomed approximately 180,000 visitors.

Reportedly, in the first eight months of 2024, Cua Lo is estimated to have received 4,650,000 visitors, an increase of 31% compared to the same period last year, reaching 120% of the annual plan.
Of these, the number of overnight visitors is estimated at 1,720,000, an increase of 39% compared to the same period last year, reaching 119% of the annual plan. International visitors numbered 6,000, an increase of 12% compared to the same period last year.
Tourism revenue is estimated at 4,800 billion VND, a 37% increase compared to the same period last year, reaching 114% of the annual plan.
Mr. Son once shared: The Hanoi -Vinh expressway and Vin Wonders Cua Hoi are the two main drivers behind the dramatic growth of tourism in Cua Lo.
Besides Cua Lo, many other tourist destinations in Nghe An such as: Uncle Ho's birthplace (Nam Dan), Truong Bon historical site (Do Luong), Tea Island (Thanh Chuong)... also welcomed a sharp increase in visitors during this year's Independence Day holiday (September 2nd).
According to information from the Nghe An Provincial Department of Tourism: It is estimated that during the 4-day holiday (August 31st to September 3rd), Nghe An province welcomed and served 320,000 visitors, an increase of 19% compared to the same period in 2023.
Of these, the number of overnight visitors reached 110,000 (a 22% increase compared to 2023); international visitors totaled 1,200. Total tourism revenue reached over 635 billion VND, a 27% increase.

According to data from the Department of Tourism, during the four-day holiday from August 31st to September 3rd, Ninh Binh is estimated to have welcomed 374,000 visitors, an increase of 67.9% compared to the same holiday period in 2023.
Of these, international visitors are estimated at 74,000, an increase of 276.7% compared to the 2023 holiday period, with estimated revenue reaching nearly 650 billion VND, an increase of 182.6% compared to the 2023 holiday period. The average room occupancy rate reached 85-90%, and reached 100% on the nights of August 31st and September 1st.

Statistics show that Sam Son City leads the entire Thanh Hoa province in the number of visitors with 198,200.

The average occupancy rate of tourist accommodations in the province during the four-day holiday reached approximately 65%. Specifically, on September 1st and 2nd, occupancy exceeded 90%.
Most tourist accommodations with 3 stars or higher in Dong Hoi City and homestays, farmstays, and accommodations with beautiful scenery and close to nature in the Phong Nha area have occupancy rates above 75%.
