After more than four years of suspension, the toll stations of the BOT project on provincial road DT768 are about to resume collecting tolls to recoup the project's investment.
On March 5th, Sonadezi Chau Duc Joint Stock Company issued a notice stating that toll collection at the BOT project on Highway 768 in Bien Hoa City and Vinh Cuu District ( Dong Nai Province) would resume from 8:00 AM on April 5th.

The BOT project for Highway 768 will continue to collect tolls at toll stations No. 1, 3A, 3B, and No. 4 on Highway 768, and toll stations 2A and 2B on Dong Khoi Street.
Accordingly, the road usage service fees at toll stations are as follows: Vehicles with fewer than 12 seats, trucks with a load capacity of less than 2 tons, and public passenger transport buses are charged 20,000 VND/trip, 600,000 VND/month, and 1,620,000 VND/quarter.
Vehicles with 12 to 30 seats, and trucks with a load capacity of 2 tons to less than 4 tons: 30,000 VND/trip, 900,000 VND/month, 2,430,000 VND/quarter.
Vehicles with 31 seats or more, and trucks with a load capacity from 4 tons to less than 10 tons, have rental rates of VND 44,000/month, VND 1,320,000/quarter, and VND 3,564,000/quarter, respectively.
Trucks with a load capacity of 10 tons to under 18 tons and 20-foot container trucks are priced at 80,000 VND per trip, 2,400,000 VND per month, and 6,480,000 VND per quarter.
Trucks with a load capacity of 18 tons or more and 40-foot container trucks are priced at 160,000 VND per trip, 4,800,000 VND per month, and 12,960,000 VND per quarter.
The above fee rates apply during the period 2024-2029; from 2030 onwards, the fees will be adjusted upwards according to regulations.
The categories of entities eligible for exemption or reduction of road usage fees are governed by the regulations in Circular No. 32/2024/TT-BGTVT dated November 13, 2024, issued by the Ministry of Transport (now the Ministry of Construction ).
Regulations are stipulated in document No. 917/UBND-KTN dated January 24, 2025, of the People's Committee of Dong Nai province regarding the reduction of toll fees for households directly affected when passing through the Dong Khoi toll station under the BOT project of Road 768.
Previously, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province issued document No. 2021/UBND-KTN dated March 4, 2025, regarding the collection of toll fees for the BOT project of provincial road DT 768 and the handover of the Thien Tan water treatment plant road.
The Provincial People's Committee has assigned the Department of Construction to inspect the investment and construction of completed project items according to the approved investment project dossier. They are also to inspect the operation of the toll stations before official toll collection begins.
The BOT project for Highway 768 has been adjusted, with a total length of approximately 23.857 km, and is invested in by Sonadezi Chau Duc Joint Stock Company. This is a vital transportation artery connecting Bien Hoa City to Vinh Cuu District (Dong Nai Province) and Tan Uyen District ( Binh Duong Province).
In early January 2021, toll stations on the BOT project of the DT768 route temporarily ceased operations. This suspension was implemented in accordance with Decision 19/2020 of the Prime Minister, effective after December 31, 2020. Currently, the investor is permitted to resume toll collection to recover project costs after completing all necessary legal procedures.
