Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia expressed his wish that cadres and Party members actively set an example in learning from and following President Ho Chi Minh, upholding the spirit of pioneering and exemplary conduct, and serving as the leading force for all strata of the people in the process of renovation, construction, and development of the country.

On the evening of October 11th, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Central Propaganda Department organized the "Exchange Program of Outstanding Exemplars in Studying and Following the Ideology, Morality, and Style of Ho Chi Minh in the Southern Region in 2024," with the theme "Aspiration - Pioneering."

The attendees included: Nguyen Trong Nghia, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Head of the Central Propaganda Department; Phan Van Mai, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City; and Phan Nguyen Nhu Khue, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

Also attending were leaders of the Provincial and City Party Committees in the Southern region; leaders of the permanent offices of central ministries and agencies in Ho Chi Minh City; and especially 17 exemplary individuals and 12 outstanding models.

Speaking at the program, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia praised the proud achievements of the exemplary individuals honored in today's program.

According to you, the impressive stories of people in Southern Vietnam today, who are competing to learn from and follow Uncle Ho's example of pioneering spirit, innovation, and creativity through simple, practical actions, with many good models and effective methods that have a strong ripple effect.

The Head of the Central Propaganda Department proposed that Party committees, governments, the Fatherland Front, and political and social organizations effectively implement Conclusion 01-KL/TW of the Politburo of the 13th Party Congress, leading to a summary of 10 years of implementing Directive 05-CT/TW of the Politburo of the 12th Party Congress on "Promoting the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style," the Regulations on setting examples, and Regulation 144-QĐ/TW of the Politburo on ethical standards for cadres and Party members in the new situation.

At the same time, we must continue to promote and innovate the content and methods of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style in every action and every development policy; creating breakthroughs in three areas: Studying Uncle Ho - Following Uncle Ho's example - Setting an example for cadres, Party members, and all strata of the people.

Upholding the spirit of pioneering, innovation, and creativity, embodying "self-reliance, self-confidence, self-sufficiency, self-strength, and national pride," strengthening national unity, closely linking the Party's will with the people's aspirations, and confidently stepping into a new era, an era of Vietnam's national progress.

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia expressed his hope that cadres and Party members would actively set an example in learning from and following Uncle Ho, upholding the spirit of pioneering and exemplary conduct, daring to think, daring to speak, daring to act, daring to take responsibility, daring to confront difficulties and challenges, and being the core leading all strata of the people in the process of renovation, construction and development of the country.

"Each of these exemplary individuals today should continue to build upon their achievements, strive diligently, and constantly improve to achieve even greater success; they deserve to be shining examples, strongly spreading the spirit of pioneering, innovation, and creativity; and they should replicate many more exemplary models and examples, creating a vibrant, widespread, and effective emulation movement throughout society," emphasized Nguyen Trong Nghia, Head of the Central Propaganda Department.
