The Samsung Odyssey G9 boasts a 49-inch curved OLED panel with an 1800R curvature, making it the first OLED display to feature Dual Quad High Definition (DQHD; 5120 x 1440) resolution with a 32:9 aspect ratio, providing users with an experience equivalent to two QHD screens side-by-side. The Odyssey G9 has a GtG response time of just 0.03ms and a 240Hz refresh rate.
The Odyssey G9 is equipped with the neo Quantum Processor Pro chip, combined with intelligent algorithms refined by Samsung, and incorporates image analysis technologies that allow the screen to automatically adjust brightness and automatically amplify contrast.
Additionally, the device supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, allowing for gaming at a minimum resolution of FHD, HDR support, and a 120Hz refresh rate without screen tearing. The product comes with VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black backlighting and 250 nits of brightness.
This gaming monitor features the Samsung Gaming Hub platform, which includes cloud gaming services like NVIDIA GeForce Now and Xbox Game Pass (though limited to certain markets) and smart TV apps, allowing users to access streaming services, games, and entertainment simultaneously.
The Samsung Odyssey G9 OLED has a variety of connectivity ports to suit users' needs, including HDMI 2.1 and micro HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, and Auto Source Switch+.
The screen has thin bezels and a metal finish. The back features the familiar design of the Odyssey series with CoreSync and CoreLighting+ cores, which automatically synchronize with the screen's colors. The Odyssey G9's stand is also height-adjustable.
The product is currently priced from $2,199 (approximately 51.7 million VND) for the Odyssey G9 (G95SC), and Samsung also has another Odyssey G9 model with the code G93SC, which has a similar design and technology to the G95SC, except for the Gaming Hub and Smart TV platforms.
