On the morning of May 15th, at Dong Loc Secondary School, the Zhi Shan Foundation (Taiwan), the Center for Social Work and Vocational Education for People with Disabilities in Ha Tinh, in coordination with the Department of Education and Training of Can Loc district, held a ceremony to inaugurate three friendly libraries and hand over bookshelves to schools.
In 2025, the Zhi Shan Foundation will provide 446 million VND to support three friendly libraries in the following schools: Nguyen Tat Thanh Secondary School, Dong Loc Secondary School, and Xuan Loc Kindergarten, and will donate bookshelves to 20 schools in Can Loc district.
Specifically, the libraries at Dong Loc Secondary School, Nguyen Tat Thanh Secondary School, and Xuan Loc Kindergarten received funding for the purchase of equipment, tables, and chairs, as well as matching funds for the purchase of additional books; the kindergarten libraries were invested in with more learning and play areas, making each school day more attractive for children.
It is known that, in addition to the inauguration of the three libraries mentioned above, from 2022 to 2025, Can Loc district has received support and investment from the Zhi Shan Foundation for libraries in kindergartens in Son Loc, My Loc, Kim Song Truong, Quang Loc, Thuong Loc and My Loc Secondary School; and has supported many classroom bookshelves for kindergartens and secondary schools in the area with a total value of over 1 billion VND.
