Members of Parliament believe that the recently announced results of the confidence vote are objective and honest, reflecting the performance of the individuals being evaluated across all areas.
The assessment is very fair and objective.
On the afternoon of October 25th, the National Assembly passed a Resolution confirming the results of the confidence vote for those holding positions elected or approved by the National Assembly.
In the corridors of the National Assembly, National Assembly deputies shared their thoughts with the press about the results and significance of the confidence vote.
National Assembly Deputy Trinh Xuan An ( Dong Nai delegation) shared that the National Assembly has completed one of its very important tasks, which is exercising its supreme oversight power through the confidence vote for 44 positions elected and approved by the National Assembly.
Today's vote of confidence was meticulously and thoroughly prepared by the National Assembly Office, particularly in terms of documentation, written materials, and very strict regulations.
Members of the National Assembly voted to approve a resolution confirming the results of the confidence vote for those holding positions elected or approved by the National Assembly using an electronic system.
“We are National Assembly deputies who are undertaking the important task of counting votes for the first time, and we feel very honored and responsible. I observed that the deputies made assessments based on the publicly available results. The deputies assessed very fairly, objectively, and very closely to the areas and contents required by Resolution 96 and the law,” Mr. An shared.
According to Mr. An, the evaluation by National Assembly deputies is not only based on the work performance reports of those being voted on, but also through many other channels, especially through the research and investigation of each deputy.
Based on the voting results, it can be seen that for positions such as parliamentary leaders and committee chairpersons, the approval rating is generally higher; while for government- run sectors, it is usually slightly lower.
In particular, there are areas where the percentage of low confidence votes is higher than in other areas, and I believe that the assessment by the National Assembly deputies is completely objective and impartial.
"In the past period, we have faced many difficulties. I believe that the evaluation of the Government, Ministries, and sectors directly involved in management serves both as encouragement and a demonstration of responsibility, because there are requirements for those areas that demand even greater efforts."
"Areas with a high number of low confidence votes, such as the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education and Training, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade... these are areas where the people and National Assembly deputies demand more effort to overcome shortcomings and meet the needs of the people and voters," Mr. An expressed.
An opportunity to reflect on the area of responsibility.
National Assembly Deputy Hoang Thi Thanh Thuy, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Tay Ninh province, believes that the recently announced results of the confidence vote are objective and honest, reflecting the performance of the individuals subject to the vote across all fields.
National Assembly Deputy Hoang Thi Thanh Thuy shared her thoughts with the press on the sidelines of the National Assembly.
The results of the confidence vote provide an opportunity for those being evaluated to reflect on themselves, their performance of duties and responsibilities, and identify shortcomings and limitations in their areas of responsibility, so that they can strive for improvement in the future.
"The leaders of several sectors received a high number of low confidence votes, such as Education and Training, Science and Technology, and Industry and Trade... In my opinion, these are sectors that still have certain problems and limitations, and are of great concern to voters and National Assembly deputies."
Ministers are the ones "at the helm" and the captains of the ship, so they will face many difficulties in resolving the obstacles and shortcomings of their respective sectors. Based on the results of this confidence vote, the people and National Assembly deputies will monitor how these "commanders" address existing problems and limitations in sectors with a high number of "low confidence" votes, Ms. Thuy said.
National Assembly Deputy Truong Xuan Cu (Hanoi delegation) emphasized that the results of the confidence vote reflect objectivity and impartiality. This voting process allows officials to reflect and work with the leadership team to build and enhance public trust. In particular, it helps to address and overcome the limitations and difficulties that the public is concerned about in the sectors and fields under their responsibility.
"Certainly, through this confidence vote, ministers and heads of departments will be motivated to further improve the effectiveness of their leadership, direction, and management," Mr. Cu shared .
