Need to make effective use of local logos
Not only the province but also a number of districts, towns and cities in the province already have logos or are launching contests for creating logos. The issue that many people are interested in is how to effectively use the logo.
After awarding, how will the local logo be used to meet the right purposes and requirements, which is known by many people as a story that has received a lot of attention recently.

Through the media and social networks, Mr. Le Cong Quang (a businessman in Quy Nhon City) learned that some districts and cities in the province already have logos or are organizing logo creation contests. Quang said that the organization and awarding of prizes are expensive and should not be done in the "movement" style, but need to promote the effectiveness of the logo.
“The reason I say this is because the Provincial People's Committee has also organized a contest and announced the logo since 2019. However, after that, the use and effective promotion of the province's logo was still limited, the logo did not appear much in promotional activities, propaganda, outdoor events that I had the opportunity to follow, "said Mr. Quang.
Nearly half a month ago, the Quy Nhon City People's Committee held a summary and award ceremony for the Quy Nhon City logo creation contest. The first prize (award 100 million VND) belongs to the work of author Nguyen Ngoc Huy Man (Da Nang City), which is designed with the main details showing the ship, the Center for Scientific Discovery and Innovation, the lighthouse on Cu Lao Xanh, showing that Quy Nhon City is aiming to be a marine economic center, a science city...
According to the head of the Department of Culture and Sports of Quy Nhon City, Phan Tuan Hoang, the work selected as the Quy Nhon logo is undergoing copyright registration procedures, then used in the formation of the identity of Quy Nhon city, serving domestic and foreign affairs, information and propaganda activities, serving socio-economic development, and promoting city tourism.
Following the direction of the city leadership on the effective use of the Quy Nhon logo, the City Department of Culture and Sports is coordinating with relevant units to deploy the logo into specific products, activities and images.
Mr. Hoang said: “In the short term, we will coordinate to make the Quy Nhon emblem to become a gift and use for city officials and civil servants. In the coming time, put the logo in the decoration of events, festivals, propaganda banners, on the city's OCOP product packages... Along with that, it is proposed to consider building a logo model with an appropriate form, convenient and attractive location to create a check-in point for visitors."
Hoai Nhon town has chosen the logo since 2021. In the past time, the town logo has been used in domestic and foreign activities, propaganda and local promotion… Mr. Nguyen Van Do (in Bong Son ward, Hoai Nhon town) said: “We feel familiar when this logo is used in decorative lights on some roads in Bong Son ward. I think the logo should appear in more locations of the town, especially places where tourism can be developed for tourists to know."
Tay Son District People's Committee has also issued a plan to organize a contest to create district logos, from May to November, 5. Phu Cat District People's Committee launched a contest to create district logos from June to December, 11.2023. These are localities that are "later" in the direction of having their own logo, so it is necessary to "go ahead" to actively learn and draw experience to soon have a specific orientation in using the logo most effectively with local reality, instead of "having it and then counting".
