Man United spend more than anyone else
Since the beginning of the summer, Liverpool has continuously shaken up the top football world with a series of "blockbuster" contracts. It includes two big deals - buying Wirtz for 125 million euros, Ekitike for 95 million euros, and other big deals such as Kerkez, Frimpong, Mamardashvili... In total, Liverpool has spent 340 million euros to buy players this summer (including Mamardashvili - a deal they completed last year, but has just joined the team).
But Liverpool also collected 143 million euros from the sale, with the expensive deal of Luis Diaz - 70 million euros. So up to this point, Liverpool actually spent less than 200 million euros on the transfer market this summer. This figure is even lower than Arsenal - the team spent 224 million euros on buying players and only collected 8 million euros from the sale, meaning a total of 216 million euros.
Meanwhile, Man United will spend more than 230 million euros if the deal named Benjamin Sesko is officially completed. According to many European football transfer experts, Man United has so far reached all personal agreements with Sesko and the transfer fee with Leipzig Club. And this deal will soon be announced in the next few days.
United, on the other hand, have not made any money. They have sold four first-team players this summer, but three of them are free agents (including Evans, who retired at the end of last season). Rashford has moved to Barca on loan with an option to buy next season.

Coach Amorim's problem
Looking at that income and expenditure table, it is clear that Man United is really taking a gamble. The financial situation of the "red devils" has been incredibly bad since last season, forcing Chairman Jim Ratcliffe to lay off more than 400 employees in the past year, while cutting a series of expenses.
And things got worse when Man United lost in the Europa League final, thereby missing out on a Champions League ticket. Not being able to participate in the continent's top tournament means losing at least 100 million euros in revenue, combined with a very poor performance in the Premier League (they finished 15th last season).
When revenue decreased, Man United was forced to sell players first to have money to reinvest in the squad. But the "Red Devils" completely failed in the selling direction. They could only loan Rashford to Barca for free.
And so far none of the "clearance list" including Antony, Garnacho, Malacia, Sancho and Hojlund have been sold. This group of players was expected to bring Man United more than 200 million euros this summer, but things have not gone anywhere.
Coach Amorim deserves to be considered a "sinner" when he constantly openly conflicts with the players. He is aggressive with Sancho, Rashford and Garnacho, to the point of openly wanting to kick these players out of the team. With such developments, Man United's price tag of 50 - 70 million euros for these players is completely unreasonable. The most typical example is Garnacho - the Man United player "asked out" a price of 70 million euros in vain. So far, the only team showing interest in the Argentine striker is Chelsea, when they offered... 30 million euros.
Having not sold anyone yet, and having bought too much, billionaire Jim Ratcliffe has taken a gamble with Man United this summer.
By spending more than 80 million euros on Benjamin Sesko, Man United has increased their spending this summer to more than 230 million euros to become the team that spends the most money in the Premier League.
