To proactively monitor and operate the system, and to promptly identify potential system or equipment failures, Quang Tri Power Company (PC Quang Tri) collaborated with the Central Power Electronic Metering Equipment Manufacturing Center (CPCEMEC) to develop a program for "remote metering data alerts, increasing collection rates and improving reliability in remote metering data collection." The program was piloted in June 2023 and officially launched on PC Quang Tri's remote metering system in July 2023.

Accordingly, the program is designed to automatically alert in cases such as meters with faulty RTCs and to warn about meters with data collection time discrepancies compared to real time; to alert about meters with RF signals but insufficient measurement data for billing (meter sets) due to weak RF signals; to detect and send alerts about faulty meters on the RFSpider system; to detect and alert about missing metering data in the collection and synchronization of remote metering data between RF-Spider and DSPM; to alert about meters with duplicate data when declaring remote metering exploitation; to monitor and analyze collected data per session on the RF-Spider system; and to alert about missing reading session data due to program/operational errors...
According to the procedure, the system will automatically generate a list of warnings for cases where meters lack measurement point data, have duplicate remote measurement data, warn of cases where data is available but the warning is offline on the system, and warn of stations with unstable data collection rates, and send these warnings to the operational warning program.
Daily, technical staff will check the list of alert cases in the program. From there, they will coordinate with subordinate units to check system data and field data, verify the status of the alerted data, and propose solutions to address the issues. In addition, for unusual incidents related to the remote sensing system, the program will analyze the data and send immediate alerts to technical staff.
According to Phan Thanh Vinh, Director of Vinh Linh Power Company, the introduction of remote metering devices helps Vinh Linh Power Company proactively check load data and parameters, as well as switching equipment on the power grid; quickly analyze and propose solutions to ensure stable and continuous power supply, guarantee the reliability of power supply to customers in the area, and promptly resolve power grid-related incidents.
Currently, Vinh Linh Power Company has installed 100% electronic electricity meters for customers in the district, enabling remote meter reading via RF and 4G signals. Through RF-Spider and DSPM programs, the company and customers can monitor meter readings promptly, quickly, and transparently.
Through the "EVNCPC CSKH" application of the Central Power Corporation, customers can conveniently check their electricity consumption in real time, thereby using electricity safely, economically, and efficiently.
Since the implementation of the remote metering data alert system, the electricity sector has been able to proactively receive information from the remote metering system, ensuring stability in remote data collection. This has improved the quality of service for electricity customers.
The "Remote Metering Data Alert Program for Increasing Collection Rates and Enhancing Reliability in Remote Metering Data Collection" helps technical staff manage and continuously update information on the operational status of remote metering data and programs; provides timely solutions for checking and processing programs and data quickly; and improves customer management and care by shortening the time for checking customer programs and data, ensuring stable customer meter data collection, and avoiding data collection interruptions.
The DSPMRF-Spider remote metering system, once implemented, has brought significant benefits to production and business operations, particularly in meter reading, customer billing, and electricity sales monitoring and inspection.
Clearly, the implementation of the program contributes to improving work efficiency, enhancing the operation and monitoring of the remote metering system by the power industry's management staff, and playing a crucial role in digital transformation and improving production and business efficiency. This affirms that Quang Tri Power Company (PC Quang Tri) consistently pursues the goal of improving customer service quality and continuously strives to become a digital enterprise.
