The "Winter Volunteer Program 2025 - Spring Volunteer Program 2026" in Quang Tri.

QTO - On the morning of December 19th, in Kim Ngan commune, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union - the Secretariat of the Vietnam Youth Union of Quang Tri province, in coordination with the Youth Union of the Vietnam Tobacco Corporation, organized the "Winter Volunteer Program 2025 - Spring Volunteer Program 2026" with many social welfare activities aimed at people and students in ethnic minority areas.

During the program, many social welfare activities were implemented, including: donating 4 "Houses of Compassion" to families whose homes were damaged by floods in Sen Ngu and Kim Ngan communes; supporting the construction of 2 "Lighting up the Border" projects using solar energy in Kim Ngan commune; donating 1 water filter and 1 clean water storage tank to Lam Thuy Ethnic Boarding Primary and Secondary School; donating 345 warm jackets, 200 warm blankets, 50 school bags and 500 red scarves to students in Kim Ngan commune.

On this occasion, many gifts were also given to disadvantaged families in Kim Ngan commune, contributing to supporting the people in stabilizing their lives and working and producing with peace of mind.

Within the framework of the program, many volunteer activities were organized, such as free medical examinations, health consultations, and distribution of medicine to the people; the commencement of construction of a charitable house for the family of Mr. Ho Van Linh in Khe Giua village, Kim Ngan commune; and visits and gift-giving to village elders and influential people.

The program has contributed to spreading the spirit of social responsibility and sharing for the community, while also creating a vibrant atmosphere of competition among union members and young people.
