
In Da Nang , construction commenced on the Nam Thang Binh Industrial Park (Phase B), covering 346 hectares in Thang Dien and Thang Truong communes, with an investment of 3,373 billion VND, to be implemented over 5 years; the park aims to attract environmentally friendly and high-tech industries.

Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai called on the people to agree with the policy and promptly hand over the land so that the project can be implemented on schedule, for the long-term benefit of the locality and future generations.

On the same day, Da Nang C Hospital commenced construction of a high-quality care and treatment center (worth 547 billion VND), aiming to establish a high-quality elderly care center for the Central and Central Highlands regions.

According to Deputy Minister of Health Tran Van Thuan, the project aligns with the development orientation of the Geriatrics field at Da Nang C Hospital, in the context of Vietnam's rapidly aging population.

The city also commenced construction on two social housing projects at apartment building site No. 3 and apartment building site No. 5, both located in Zone B – Nam Cam Le Bridge Residential Area (Hoa Xuan Ward). The project at apartment building site No. 5 alone has a total investment of approximately 1,737 billion VND.

According to Le Quang Nam, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee, this is a step towards achieving the target of nearly 29,000 social housing units by 2030.

In Hue City, construction commenced. The OXH2 apartment building is part of the Thuy Van Complex project, phase 2, An Van Duong New Urban Area (Vy Da ward).

The project comprises four high-rise apartment buildings with nearly 700 apartments, costing 420 billion VND and built on an area of over 2 hectares. Upon completion, the project is expected to meet the housing needs of approximately 1,300 residents.

On the same day, Hue International General Hospital was officially inaugurated at 15 Hanoi Street, Thuan Hoa Ward, Hue City. The project, with a total investment of over 2,300 billion VND, comprises 16 above-ground floors, 2 basement floors, a usable area of over 20,000 m², and a capacity of over 260 beds, meeting the needs for high-quality medical examination, treatment, and care for residents and patients in the area.
At the Vinhomes Vung Ang Industrial Park (Ha Tinh province) , Vingroup Corporation held a groundbreaking ceremony for four major projects with a total investment of over 127,000 billion VND, including: VinMetal steel production plant, Ky Anh wind power plant, Eco Wind Ky Anh wind power plant, and Song Tri ward urban area.

Mr. Pham Nhat Quan Anh, General Director of VinMetal, pledged to mobilize maximum resources, implement the project on schedule, ensure quality, and contribute to promoting socio-economic development in Ha Tinh province.

On the same day, in Quang Ngai, The Provincial Project Management Board for Civil and Industrial Construction Projects commenced the project for a rainwater and wastewater collection and treatment system in the southern downstream basin of the Tra Khuc River.

The project, implemented in Nghia Lo ward, Cam Thanh ward and An Phu commune, has a total investment of approximately 1,000 billion VND and will be carried out in the period 2024 – 2027, aiming to gradually complete urban infrastructure in accordance with the General Planning of Quang Ngai until 2040.

On this occasion, Gia Lai province held the inauguration ceremony for two projects: the An Khe Sugar Factory (capacity of 18,000 tons of sugarcane/day, investment of 1,633 billion VND) and the An Khe Biomass Power Plant – Phase 1 (capacity of 95MW, investment of 1,919 billion VND).
Mr. Nguyen Van Hung (Cuu An commune) shared that sugarcane farmers are very excited about the two factories coming into operation, as they will help guarantee the purchase of raw materials, maintain stable purchase prices, and utilize sugarcane by-products to generate electricity, contributing to sustainable agricultural development.
