The weather in Ho Chi Minh City during Christmas is cool at night and in the early morning.

The weather in Ho Chi Minh City will generally be sunny with little rain. However, from December 24th to 25th, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in the evening and at night. From December 25th onwards, the nights and early mornings will be cool, with light fog in some areas.

On December 20th, the Southern Vietnam Meteorological and Hydrological Station issued its weather forecast for the third week of December in the Ho Chi Minh City area.

According to forecasts, the cold air mass will intensify and shift eastward, with further reinforcement on December 23rd and 24th. Northeast winds will be moderate to strong, gradually increasing in intensity from around December 25th. At higher altitudes, the eastern branch of the subtropical high-pressure system will weaken and retreat eastward. From December 22nd to 23rd, the western branch of the subtropical high-pressure system, with its axis passing through Central Vietnam, will develop and gradually expand eastward.

The weather in Ho Chi Minh City will generally be sunny with little rain. However, from December 24th to 25th, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in the evening and at night. From December 25th onwards, the nights and early mornings will be cool, with light fog in some areas. The highest temperatures will generally range from 29-33 degrees Celsius, with some areas exceeding 33 degrees Celsius; the lowest temperatures will generally range from 22-25 degrees Celsius.

Over the sea areas of Ho Chi Minh City, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms. Northeast winds will generally be at level 5, sometimes level 6, with gusts up to level 7; wave height will be from 1.5-3.5m. From December 25th, the wind is likely to gradually strengthen to level 6, sometimes level 7, with gusts up to level 8, causing rough seas.
