Flash flood and landslide warning due to heavy rains in Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen, Lang Son and Lam Dong provinces

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, in the past 6 hours (from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on August 21), the provinces of Thai Nguyen, Lang Son, Tuyen Quang and Lam Dong had moderate rain, heavy rain, and in some places very heavy rain.

Localities such as: Tan Lap 142.8mm (Thai Nguyen); Van Ninh 191.2mm (Lang Son); Trung Thanh 72.8mm (Tuyen Quang); Da Ploa 70.4mm ( Lam Dong ), ...

Soil moisture models show that some areas in the above provinces are close to saturation (over 85%) or have reached saturation.

In the next 3-6 hours, the above provinces will continue to have rain with accumulated rainfall from 10-25mm, in some places over 40mm.
