Most of the cases are hospitalizations due to traffic accidents, household accidents, some children are hospitalized in critical condition or have to be treated for a long time, with the risk of leaving sequelae.

Patient NHH, 11 years old, in Ban Lau commune, Muong Khuong district, Lao Cai province, had to be taken to the emergency room with a broken elbow cartilage due to an accident while playing with friends.

Although the wound has improved after treatment, I am still in a lot of pain and have many inconveniences in daily life.

The patient's family said that some of his friends invited him to go out to play, unfortunately he tripped over a rope, it got wrapped around his leg and he fell, his elbow hit the concrete floor, all the cartilage in his hand was broken, and it was separated...

PVC patient, 16 years old in Phong Nien commune, Bao Thang district, Lao Cai province, crashed his motorbike into a road sign post and suffered a broken femur, requiring surgery and long-term treatment at the hospital.

Therefore, doctors at Lao Cai General Hospital recommend: Accidents and injuries are very likely to occur in children because of their hyperactivity and curiosity but lack of knowledge and prevention skills.

Since the summer break, the number of accidents and injuries in Lao Cai province has shown signs of increasing. Therefore, families need to guide their children to play during the summer to be careful to avoid physical accidents.

If a child is found to have an accident and injury and needs timely and proper first aid and is taken immediately to a medical facility for proper examination and treatment, the chance of recovery will be much higher...
