The extended arm of the Youth Union

The "Young Doctors" Club, in collaboration with the Youth Union of Thanh Son District Health Center, organized the "Young Doctors Following Uncle Ho's Teachings - Volunteering for Community Health" Day in 2025.

Diverse models, rich activities

Established in 2012, the "Young Doctors" Club now has nearly 100 members, consisting of doctors and medical staff from healthcare facilities throughout the province. In addition to fulfilling their professional duties at their respective workplaces, the club members regularly participate in volunteer activities aimed at benefiting the community.

From the beginning of 2024 to the present, the Club has organized over 20 free medical check-ups, health consultations, and medication distribution sessions for over 4,000 people, including war veterans, families of policy beneficiaries, and impoverished households. The Club has also actively participated in the voluntary blood donation movement; organized fundraising activities to support the construction of charitable houses, and donated gifts to patients with serious illnesses undergoing treatment at medical facilities. These practical, responsible, and humane actions of the Club have affirmed the youthful energy in caring for and protecting the health of the people.

The "Youth and Law" club model, established in 13 districts, cities, and towns, has been proving effective. The club has organized over 1,000 awareness sessions with nearly 90,000 young people participating; and built 13 "Legal Bookcase" models at district, commune, ward, and town-level Youth Unions, as well as school teams... This has contributed effectively to legal education for the younger generation.

Alongside this, many clubs, organizations, and groups have been affirming their roles, appeal, and effectiveness. Typical examples include: the "Young Family" Club in Cao Xa commune, Lam Thao district, which connects young couples, creating a space for sharing experiences in raising children, maintaining family happiness, and providing support in updating knowledge and new production techniques, preferential policies supporting capital and supplies, developing livelihoods, and providing job placement advice; the "Young Theorists" Club, with its core force of young Youth Union officials and Party members, actively participates in combating erroneous viewpoints and protecting the Party's ideological foundation in cyberspace; and the "Free English" Club in Cam Khe district, which has created an open learning environment, helping young people and children improve their foreign language skills and confidently integrate into society.

Building a generation of young people with strong character and skills.

Continuing the spirit of proactive volunteerism for the community, other youth clubs, organizations, teams, and groups in Phu Tho province are also actively contributing their youthful energy and intellect to many practical activities, helping to build a more civilized, prosperous, and beautiful homeland.

The province currently has over 813 youth clubs, teams, and groups. Of these, 224 are volunteer clubs, teams, and groups; 87 are traffic safety clubs, teams, and groups; and 85 are clubs focused on hobbies and learning, attracting over 106,000 young people, accounting for over 80% of the province's youth members. On average, over 1,000 outstanding members are recommended by these youth clubs, teams, and groups each year for admission to the Youth Union.

Playing a pivotal role in the youth movement and activities, and acting as a "bridge" connecting social resources in supporting youth programs, clubs, teams, and groups are built based on the needs, interests, aspirations, and occupations of young people; focusing on three main areas: volunteer and charitable clubs, teams, and groups; clubs, teams, and groups focused on hobbies, learning, and careers; and clubs, teams, and groups supporting economic development, entrepreneurship, and career development.

Many youth clubs, organizations, teams, and groups have effectively played a pioneering and volunteer role for the community; connecting social resources to support youth programs and activities, notably: actively participating in and supporting disease prevention and control; participating in responding to, supporting, and mitigating the consequences of natural disasters; promoting social welfare activities, supporting and assisting the elderly, poor households, policy beneficiary families, and people in disadvantaged areas...

Comrade Dinh Thi Tuyet Mai, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, affirmed: With their unique organizational methods, youth clubs, teams, and groups have created novelty and leveraged the strengths of young people, helping them connect more closely with the work of the Youth Union and Associations, contributing to shaping their thoughts and forming good character for the younger generation.
