Following the reveal of the standard Pixel 10 configuration, detailed specifications for the two high-end models, the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL, have recently been leaked. While not significantly different from the Pixel 9 Pro generation, the Pixel 10 Pro series still boasts notable upgrades in performance, storage, and battery life.

The Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL continue to feature LTPO OLED displays with sizes of 6.3 inches and 6.8 inches, respectively. Both support refresh rates from 1-120 Hz, a maximum brightness of up to 3,000 nits, and are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on both the front and back, providing impressive durability and visibility even in bright light.

Both devices are equipped with the new Tensor G5 chip, combined with 16 GB of RAM, the highest configuration ever on a Pixel smartphone. However, internal storage options differ: the Pixel 10 Pro offers 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB options, while the Pixel 10 Pro XL eliminates the 128 GB version, leaving only 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB options.

Google continues to use its familiar triple rear camera setup: a 50 MP main sensor, a 48 MP ultrawide camera, and a 48 MP telephoto lens supporting 5x optical zoom. The front camera remains a 42 MP sensor.

A new feature is that both the ultra-wide-angle and telephoto cameras support macro photography. The telephoto lens has the advantage of better light gathering (although the focusing distance is further, around 10cm), while the ultra-wide-angle camera can focus closer, down to 2cm, creating a versatile macro system for various detailed shooting situations.

Google has upgraded the battery and charging capabilities for the Pixel 10 Pro line. The Pro version has a 4,870 mAh battery, slightly larger than its predecessor but smaller than the standard Pixel 10 due to the need to accommodate a larger vapor chamber cooling system. The Pro XL boasts a 5,400 mAh battery, the largest ever on a Pixel model.

Charging speeds have also been improved: the Pixel 10 Pro supports 29W fast charging, while the Pixel 10 Pro XL reaches 37W. Both support Qi2 wireless charging at 15W.

Google is expected to announce the Pixel 10 series on August 20th, with official sales starting on August 28th. With upgrades in performance, battery, and charging, the Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL are expected to continue competing strongly in the Android flagship segment in late 2025.

Additionally, the fan community is also anticipating an upgraded version of the Pixel Pro Fold foldable phone. The expected specifications for the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold include a 7.6-inch foldable LTPO OLED display, a Tensor G5 chip, 16GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, and Android 15. It will feature a 48MP, 10.8MP, and 10.5MP rear camera setup, along with a 10MP front camera.
