Google Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL configuration with many upgrades

After revealing the configuration of the standard Pixel 10 version, recently the detailed specifications of the two high-end models, Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL, have also been revealed. Although there are not many changes compared to the Pixel 9 Pro generation, the Pixel 10 Pro line still has notable upgrades in performance, memory and battery.

The Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL continue to feature LTPO OLED displays measuring 6.3 inches and 6.8 inches respectively. Both support a refresh rate of 1-120 Hz, a maximum brightness of up to 3,000 nits, and are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on both the front and back, providing durability and impressive visibility even in bright light.

Both devices are equipped with the new Tensor G5 chip, combined with 16 GB of RAM, the highest configuration level ever on a Pixel smartphone. However, the internal memory options will be different when the Pixel 10 Pro has 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB options, while the Pixel 10 Pro XL removes the 128 GB version, leaving only 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB options.

Google continues to use the familiar triple rear camera cluster: 50 MP main sensor, 48 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and 48 MP telephoto lens supporting 5x optical zoom. The front camera is still a 42 MP sensor.

What's new is that both the ultra-wide and telephoto cameras support macro photography. The telephoto lens has the advantage of better light collection (although the focus range is farther, about 10cm), while the ultra-wide camera can focus closer to 2cm, creating a flexible macro system for many detailed shooting situations.

Google has upgraded the battery and charging capabilities of the Pixel 10 Pro line. The Pro has a 4,870 mAh battery, which is larger than its predecessor but smaller than the standard Pixel 10 due to the need to make room for a larger vapor chamber. The Pro XL has a 5,400 mAh battery, the largest ever on a Pixel model.

Charging speeds have also been improved: the Pixel 10 Pro supports 29W fast charging, while the Pixel 10 Pro XL tops out at 37W. Both support Qi2 wireless charging at 15W.

Google is expected to announce the Pixel 10 series on August 20, with an official launch date of August 28. With upgrades in performance, battery, and charging, the Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL are expected to continue to compete strongly in the Android flagship segment by the end of 2025.

In addition, the fan community is also looking forward to an upgraded version of the Pixel Pro Fold foldable phone. The expected configuration of the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold includes a 7.6-inch foldable LTPO OLED screen, Tensor G5 chip, 16GB RAM, 256GB internal memory, and Android 15 operating system. The device will have 48MP, 10.8MP, and 10.5MP rear cameras, and a 10MP front camera.
