Viewed from above, a series of bridge piers rise majestically across the Thi Vai River, each girder span extending across the water's surface, creating the distinct appearance of a large-scale transportation project gradually taking shape. After more than three years of construction, the Phuoc An bridge has reached nearly 60% of its construction value.

The Phuoc An Bridge connects the Phu My area (Ho Chi Minh City) with Phuoc An (Dong Nai province), with a total length of approximately 4,378m. Of this, the main bridge section is over 3,514m long, while the remainder consists of access roads and interchanges connecting to Phuoc An port.
The project has a total investment of nearly 4,877 billion VND from central and local government budgets, commenced in late 2022 and is expected to be completed in 2027.

This is the only bridge spanning the Thi Vai River, connecting Ho Chi Minh City with Dong Nai, and is also the largest extradosed bridge in Asia, with a clearance of 55m, allowing ships with a tonnage of up to 30,000 tons to pass through.

When completed in 2027, the project will not only shorten travel time between Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai but also enhance connectivity to the Cai Mep - Thi Vai port cluster, creating momentum for the development of inter-regional logistics and industry.
