On May 23rd, Indevco Group Joint Stock Company arranged for over 200 of its employees to undergo health check-ups combined with occupational disease screening. Each person received a comprehensive clinical examination, including: internal medicine, surgery, dermatology, vision, hearing, hematology, urine tests, ultrasound, electrocardiogram, and X-ray. Female employees also received additional gynecological examinations and screening for early detection of breast cancer and cervical cancer.
Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Van, from INDEVCO Group Joint Stock Company, stated: "The policy of universal health check-ups in 2026, including for employees, is a humane policy that practically cares for the health of the people. For each employee, working in different environments, when their health is taken care of, I, like many other workers in the company, am very pleased and reassured to have health check-ups, which in turn leads to more efficient work and production."
Nguyen Van Luan, from INDEVCO Group Joint Stock Company, shared: "Regular health check-ups, especially for workers like me who work directly in the field, help us understand our health status, detect potential diseases early, and receive timely treatment and care. Having the health check-up and results delivered on the spot makes me feel very reassured and happy."

According to statistics from the health sector, approximately 100,000 workers in Quang Ninh province receive periodic health check-ups each year, primarily from government agencies, units, and businesses. This is especially important for those engaged in strenuous work, working in hazardous or specialized environments, where periodic health check-ups and occupational disease screening are crucial. This not only allows workers to better understand their health status but also helps businesses identify and assign suitable work, ensuring safety, productivity, and suitability to the workers' health.
The policy of universal health check-ups by 2026 also expands the scope to include self-employed workers, ensuring that all individuals have fair and equal access to healthcare services. This is a step towards improving the quality of healthcare and contributing to reducing occupational diseases and chronic illnesses in the working community.
Dr. Le Manh Thuong, Head of the Occupational Diseases, Diagnostic Imaging, and Functional Examination Department at the Quang Ninh CDC, stated: To ensure the quality and progress of the 2026 nationwide health check-up program for workers, the Quang Ninh CDC has fully prepared the necessary personnel, equipment, and facilities for examination and screening. Mobile examination teams are also ready to deploy at businesses, agencies, and units as planned. Next week, the unit will conduct examinations at several businesses in the province. It is expected that approximately 5,000 workers will be examined and screened for occupational diseases and other health issues, thereby helping to detect early disease risks for timely advice and treatment.

According to statistics, Quang Ninh currently has over 794,000 people of working age, from 18 to under 60 years old. Healthcare for this group is particularly important in reducing chronic diseases and high-risk conditions in the elderly, and is a practical contribution to the sustainable development of the province and the country as a whole.
Implementing health check-up programs not only allows employees to monitor their health, but also provides an opportunity for the health sector to promptly detect public health issues, thereby making appropriate recommendations and policies. This is also a way to raise employees' awareness of the importance of protecting their own health; and to foster a stronger bond between businesses and employees in creating a safe and efficient working environment.
Thus, with over 328,000 workers employed in agencies, units, and businesses throughout the province having undergone health check-ups and completed the process before June 30th, Quang Ninh province demonstrates its determination to care for the health of its workers. This contributes to improving the quality of the workforce, ensuring workers' rights, and creating a foundation for the province's comprehensive development.
