Tra Nam Ethnic Boarding Primary and Secondary School (Tra Linh commune) always prioritizes the health protection of its students.
In the 2025-2026 school year, the school will have 13 classes with 341 students, including 202 primary school students and 139 secondary school students, of which more than 90% are Ca Dong and Xo Dang ethnic minority students.
The school collaborated with the Nam Tra My Regional Health Center to organize regular health check-ups for all students. This contributed to raising students' awareness of health care, promptly detecting any abnormalities, and providing appropriate support.

Ho Thi Mai Doa, a student in class 5/2, shared: “Every winter, my classmates and I get a health check-up at school. The doctors and teachers advise us on how to stay warm, wash our hands properly, and eat nutritious food to avoid getting sick.”
Mr. Vo Dang Chin, Principal of Tra Nam Ethnic Boarding Primary and Secondary School, said: “Most of the students are children of ethnic minorities, and their living conditions and awareness of health care are not yet high. Therefore, taking care of their health during harsh weather is extremely important. We always try to ensure that no student has to miss school due to illness, especially during the coldest days.”

Nguyen Trai Ethnic Boarding Junior High School (Tra Tap commune) currently has 11 classes with 390 students.
To ensure the children stay warm during the winter, the school appealed for community support through social mobilization efforts. Many charitable organizations, such as the "Friends Who Care" Club, "Caring for Tam Ky," and the University of Economics - Da Nang University, directly came to the school to donate warm clothes to all students.
According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh, the school principal, the school has proactively equipped the school's infirmary with basic medicines such as fever reducers, effervescent vitamin C tablets, and other necessary medical supplies to promptly handle mild illnesses and prevent the spread of disease.
The school also intensified guidance for teachers and students on the safe use of medicine and personal hygiene, contributing to raising health awareness throughout the school.

This winter, the school received timely support from the "Friends Who Care" Club, which provided a pump, pipes, and accompanying equipment to upgrade the well, ensuring a daily water supply for boarding students.
The school also pays special attention to the school's lunch program at Nguyen Trai Ethnic Boarding Junior High School, ensuring food safety and hygiene as well as adequate nutrition to improve students' health.
