Pregnancy care, safe childbirth, stem cell storage

According to the World Health Organization, approximately 6% of newborns are born with birth defects each year. Many risks can be detected early during pregnancy with proper monitoring, helping to protect the child's health comprehensively.

Modern medicine increasingly emphasizes the role of comprehensive prenatal care. Adherence to standardized prenatal check-up schedules, combined with prenatal screening, helps detect birth defects and maternal diseases that affect the fetus early. In Vietnam, the trend of having children later in life has led many families to focus on early disease prevention solutions. Among these, storing stem cells from umbilical cord blood and umbilical cord tissue is seen as "future insurance" for their children.

At 8 PM on Thursday, April 16, 2026 , Tam Anh General Hospital will organize a consultation program on "Safe Pregnancy Care, Childbirth, and Stem Cell Storage" with experts: Dr. Tham Thi Thu Nga, MSc-Resident Doctor Tran Lam Khoa, and Doctor Duong Kim Oanh. The program will be broadcast on the websites: thanhnien.vn, tamanhhospital.vn; and the Fanpage: Thanh Nien Newspaper, Tam Anh General Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City; YouTube: Thanh Nien Newspaper, Tam Anh General Hospital and Tiktok: Thanh Nien Newspaper.
