On July 23, the 1st Congress of Phuoc Hoi Ward Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 officially took place. With a natural area of over 38 km² and a population of nearly 50,000 people, Phuoc Hoi is currently one of the largest wards in Lam Dong province after the merger. Located on the national coastal development axis, where the elements of urban - rural - fishing port - beach and community tourism converge, Phuoc Hoi ward possesses irreplaceable strategic advantages in the process of economic restructuring of the province.

During the past term, although each locality still had many differences, thanks to the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", Party committees at all levels focused on comprehensive and synchronous leadership in all aspects: Marine economy, industry - handicrafts, trade - services, urban infrastructure, social security, security - defense... Most of the targets for the 2020 - 2025 term were completed and exceeded the set plan. Typically, the fisheries sector continued to play a key role with a stable offshore fishing fleet, high seafood output, effective fishing unions, and drastic anti-IUU fishing work in conjunction with protecting sea and island sovereignty . Meanwhile, trade - services and tourism have improved a lot, especially in La Gi market area, Cam Binh beach, coastal accommodation points creating momentum for the goal of developing the night-time economy and green economy. Besides, the process of building civilized urban areas and advanced new rural areas has also achieved comprehensive results, the local appearance is constantly changing towards modernity, green - clean - beautiful.

Immediately after the merger, one of the key tasks identified by the Party Committee and the Phuoc Hoi government is to build a streamlined, effective and efficient apparatus, maintain political and ideological stability among cadres and party members, and create high consensus among the people. From perfecting the party organization system, rearranging party cells and neighborhoods, to investing in administrative facilities, implementing administrative procedure reform, implementing "electronic one-stop shop", "full-service online public services", all clearly demonstrate the goal of taking people as the center, the satisfaction of organizations and citizens as the measure of service. Digital transformation is also being promoted with innovative models, such as "Digital popular education" implemented by the youth union to support people in accessing technology, improving digital skills, and reducing the gap between coastal and suburban areas. The rate of files resolved on time is over 99%, transparency in management and public service responsibilities are enhanced.

Aspiration for sustainable development

According to the draft Political Report, the general goal of the 2025-2030 term is to continue building a clean and strong Party and political system; promote the strength of national solidarity; promote innovation and creativity; ensure national defense and security and improve the material and spiritual life of the people. The ward is determined to effectively exploit the potential and advantages of the coast, taking trade - services - tourism as a pillar of development, associated with digital transformation and the green economic model, circular economy.

To realize these goals, the Party Committee has identified five key tasks and solutions. First of all, the ward will innovate the growth model, promote economic restructuring towards modernity and sustainable development. The marine economy, especially seafood exploitation and processing, will continue to be consolidated in a greener and more efficient direction. Tourism is identified as a key economic sector, with the orientation of building unique products associated with coastal landscapes, indigenous culture and experiential agriculture. The ward focuses on developing smart services, logistics, applying digital technology and artificial intelligence in tourism management, promoting destinations and providing utilities for residents and visitors.

Along with that, the ward promotes the mobilization and effective use of resources for investment in infrastructure development in a synchronous, modern and environmentally friendly direction. At the same time, the ward will comprehensively develop cultural and social fields, improving the quality of people's lives. Administrative reform and digital transformation continue to be promoted, taking people as the center of service. Building a professional, modern and effective administration, gradually transferring all public services to the digital environment, creating the most favorable conditions for people and businesses in accessing administrative procedures.

On the other hand, the work of building the Party and the political system is identified as a key and continuous task.
