- We must resolutely fight to prevent and combat smuggling, trade fraud, and counterfeit goods.

At Quach Tet facility, the production process for all products strictly adheres to food safety and hygiene standards. |
Particularly in the food sector, obtaining certifications such as ISO/HACCP and OCOP not only builds a brand for safe products that benefit consumer health, but also creates a foundation for the sustainable development of businesses and establishments, especially in the context of consumers' increasing concern about product origin.
Quach Tet facility (Tan Thanh ward) specializes in the production and sale of powdered products made from various grains. Currently, the facility has 6 products, of which 5 have received OCOP certification (3 products with 4 stars, 2 products with 3 stars). The modern production line supplies thousands of finished products to the market every month.
Ms. Le Hong Diep (wife of Mr. Quach Tet) shared: "Our products have entered supermarkets both within and outside the province. Our criteria are to use organic ingredients, without additives or preservatives. In addition to ensuring the quality is as stated on the packaging, the facility pays special attention to food hygiene and safety. Therefore, the entire production process is designed to be closed-loop, ensuring cleanliness and food safety for consumers."
In Ca Mau province, quality measurement management activities have been strictly implemented recently, contributing to market protection and enhancing consumer confidence in goods and services within the province.
In June, the Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality (under the Department of Science and Technology) inspected 41 establishments, including 11 gasoline stations, 8 gold and jewelry businesses, 1 children's toy store, and 21 establishments whose products are participating in the province's product traceability portal. A total of 48 measuring instruments were inspected, and 2 samples of RON95 gasoline were sent for testing. The results showed no violations were detected.
Cumulatively from the beginning of the year to date, a total of 122 establishments have been inspected, achieving 111% of the annual plan. These include 44 gasoline stations, 12 gold and jewelry businesses, 1 taxi company, 1 children's toy business, and 64 establishments whose products participate in the province's product traceability portal. During the inspections, 3 gasoline stations were found to have violated regulations regarding measurement; the cases have been transferred to the Department's Inspectorate for processing according to regulations.
Mr. Le Viet Binh, Deputy Head of the Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality, said: “Besides inspecting standards and metrology, each year the Department takes over 100 samples of goods circulating in the market to survey their quality. Samples that do not meet the standards will be reported to relevant departments and agencies for coordinated inspection and handling.”
According to Ms. Diep, each product has its own use and meets the needs of consumers.
In the context of increasing integration and fierce competition, product quality has become an essential requirement. Accurate and transparent measurement is fundamental to quality control, protecting consumer rights, and affirming business reputation.
Only when consumers place their full trust in domestic products, businesses confidently invest in quality, and regulatory agencies provide effective support, can a healthy and sustainable market be built, gradually elevating Vietnamese brands on the global economic map.
