Hanoi – The Hanoi City Parks and Greenery Company Limited has cut down three red sandalwood trees around Hoan Kiem Lake, Hoan Kiem District, after they had been dead for many years.
On the morning of May 24th, the felling area was cordoned off for safety. Workers used cranes and chainsaws to cut the rosewood trees into short sections. Each section was counted, measured, and recorded in a report. The felling took place over two days, May 24th and 25th.
