On August 23rd, authorities in Binh Chanh district were investigating the cause of a fire that occurred at a clothing store in Vinh Loc B commune.
At approximately 4:30 AM on the same day, a fire broke out at a clothing store on Nguyen Thi Tu Street, Vinh Loc B commune. Upon discovering the incident, nearby residents shouted for help and tried to extinguish the fire on the spot, but without success.

Upon receiving the report, the Fire and Rescue Police Team of Binh Chanh District Police dispatched numerous officers and firefighters along with firefighting equipment to the scene to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading. The fire was put out shortly afterward.
Speaking to a reporter from Dan Tri newspaper, the leader of Vinh Loc B commune People's Committee said that the fire did not cause any casualties, but destroyed a lot of property inside the clothing store. An ATM and part of the bank's sign next door were also burned.
The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are currently being investigated by the police.
