Ms. Huong, who lives near the scene, said that after a very loud explosion, the power went out, and black smoke spread into her house, causing her family to suffocate and run outside. "The explosion was so loud that even though I was inside the house, it felt like the walls and windows were shaking," Ms. Huong said.
According to some witnesses, the explosion may have been caused by an electrical transformer inside the building, and the fire occurred in the motorcycle parking area.
