Party branch that does mass mobilization well

We visited Residential Area No. 4 in Thach Dong commune (formerly), now part of Dao Xa commune – a shining example of the model new rural development movement. With a spirit of unity and solidarity, especially the exemplary and skillful role of the residential area's Party branch in mobilizing the people, the community has been gradually transforming Residential Area No. 4. Village roads and alleys are clean and well-maintained, sturdy multi-story houses have sprung up, the economy is developing, and the lives of the people in the area are improving.

Thanks to effective mass mobilization work, the Party cell of residential area No. 4 - Dao Xa commune has successfully built a model new rural residential area.

In 2023, Residential Area No. 4 was honored to be recognized as a model residential area, two years ahead of schedule. Furthermore, in 2025, the area will continue to receive a Certificate of Commendation from the Provincial People's Committee for outstanding achievements in studying and following the ideology, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh , during the period 2016–2025. These achievements are the culmination of collective unity, the strength of the people, and the dedication of the Party members here.

The Party cell in Zone 4 currently has 39 members, all of whom are pioneers in every local movement. They are not only sources of inspiration but also actively participate in every project and every day of work.

Thanks to skillful propaganda and mobilization efforts, the Party branch and the people participated in upgrading, repairing, and expanding the nearly 2km long main road in the residential area along the Da River, which had deteriorated, with a total value of nearly 4 billion VND. Of this, the people in the area donated nearly 300m2 of residential land and many structures worth over 300 million VND, along with 450 days of labor; repaired branch roads in the alleys, planted trees, flowerbeds, installed streetlights, stone benches; upgraded and repaired the cultural house, and built a village gate with a total value of nearly 550 million VND.

In addition, the people also donated nearly 3,000 square meters of agricultural land to build rural roads worth over 500 million VND, contributing to changing the face of their homeland and making it increasingly developed and modernized.

"Village affairs, people's will" – all policies are discussed openly and democratically. Mr. Nguyen Van Binh, a resident of Zone 4, happily stated: "Thanks to the propaganda and mobilization efforts of the Party branch and other organizations in the area, my family and many other families have agreed to contribute money and labor to repair and upgrade the community center, creating a space for community activities, beautifying the streets and alleys, and contributing to changing the appearance of the residential area..."

After the infrastructure was completed, the Party Branch continued to assign tasks to various organizations based on their strengths: the Women's Association's "5 No's and 3 Cleanliness" Club beautified the streets with flowers and ornamental plants; the Youth Union took care of environmental sanitation and clearing drainage ditches; and the Veterans' Association was responsible for the street lighting system... As a result, each street and alleyway was always bright, tidy, and clean – a testament to the strong bond between the government and the people.

The plastic waste collection point model is located at the community cultural center of residential area No. 4 - Dao Xa commune.

The appearance of the rural residential area is becoming increasingly civilized and modern with multi-story houses, bright, green, clean, and beautiful concrete roads adorned with flowers and ornamental plants. The lives of the people are constantly improving, with average per capita income reaching over 60 million VND/year, 100% of households achieving the status of "cultural family," no more temporary or dilapidated houses, and the poverty rate reduced to 0.9% – these figures speak volumes about the new vitality and sustainable development of the community. From 2021 to 2024, the Party branch of residential area No. 4 consistently performed its duties excellently, becoming a model Party branch in the locality.

“To succeed, we must do a good job of mobilizing the people” – the simple yet heartfelt words of Party Branch Secretary Mac Ke Duc affirm the guiding principle for all of the Party Branch's activities. According to Mr. Duc, mobilizing the people is not just about soliciting contributions, but more importantly, about gaining the people's trust, understanding, and cooperation. And that trust can only be achieved when cadres dare to think, dare to act, are transparent, impartial, and put the interests of the community above all else.

Residential Area No. 4 today is a vivid testament to the success of effective mass mobilization work. Here, each resident is not only a beneficiary of the achievements but also an active participant in creating change – a civilized, united, and compassionate community, truly embodying the spirit of "the Party's will and the people's hearts," worthy of being a model new rural residential area of ​​the locality...
