Building a Party branch that excels in four aspects.

For the past two years, the Party Branch of Binh Ca 1 village, Tu Quan commune (Yen Son district), has consistently achieved the title of exemplary clean and strong Party branch and has been selected by the commune Party committee to build a model "four-good Party branch". Comrade Truong Quoc Phong, Secretary of the Party Branch and Head of the village, emphasized that to build a four-good Party branch and a four-good Party committee, it must start with the Party members, as Uncle Ho taught, "If the Party members are good, then the Party branch will be good; a good Party branch is due to all the Party members being good."

Over the years, the 21 party members in the branch have effectively played their role as role models, overcoming all difficulties to do a good job of "skillful mass mobilization," mobilizing the people to contribute billions of dong to building new rural areas. In particular, they have skillfully implemented mass mobilization in building rural concrete roads, field roads, and village cultural houses. To date, the village has completed 4 km of concrete roads; the cultural house has been built in a spacious and standard-compliant manner; 2.5 km of village roads have street lighting; 70% of households in the village have a relatively good or higher standard of living; and the village has had no complaints for many years.
Conscious of the importance of economic development not only for personal enrichment but also for creating a commodity production area with the villagers, Party member Nguyen Van Xuan is a pioneer in the village's economic development.

Mr. Xuan shared that only when cadres and Party members set a good example in all their work will the people follow them. Each Party member must be like a leading flag in implementing resolutions and carrying out both public and private tasks. Mr. Xuan currently has a fruit tree model including V2 oranges, green pomelos, and guavas, with a total annual income of approximately 400 million VND. Since establishing his business, Mr. Xuan, along with other Party members and villagers, has worked together to build concrete roads and contribute to other projects in the village.

To achieve these results, the Binh Ca 1 Party branch has actively built its organization over the years with specific objectives. Party branch secretary Truong Quoc Hung affirmed that the leader must focus on the content of Party branch meetings, ensuring democracy and transparency in all information so that Party members are informed and can participate in discussions; and Party members must always uphold discipline and order for everything to be effective.

The Phong Quang village Party branch, Vinh Quang commune Party committee (Chiem Hoa district), has effectively played its role in implementing the model new rural development movement in the residential area. The Party branch recognizes that a strong branch requires good cadres and Party members. They consistently uphold the exemplary role of Party members, from contributing funds to infrastructure development to fostering unity within the residential area…

Mr. Nguyen Dac Kha, a Party member and a disabled veteran (category 2/4), despite his frail health, always takes the lead in community activities in the village. As the head of the self-governing group in Phong Quang village, he consistently demonstrates his leadership and prestige to set an example for his family, relatives, and fellow villagers. He always reminds residents to maintain cleanliness, display flags during holidays and festivals, and contribute to building a civilized residential area.

The leading role and exemplary conduct of the cadres and Party members have created unity and cohesion in leadership and guidance, mobilizing the combined strength of the people. Phong Quang has mobilized the people to contribute nearly 1 billion VND to build a model new rural area; concreted over 1.2 km of roads and field paths, built more than 2 km of drainage ditches and 850 m of street lighting. The grounds and gate of the cultural center have been built and renovated to be clean and beautiful. The main village roads all have flowerbeds and ornamental plants...

With these achievements, Phong Quang village was awarded a Certificate of Commendation by the People's Committee of Chiêm Hóa district for its efforts in studying and following the ideology, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh , during the period 2021-2022.

Do a good job of "self-reflection and self-correction".

For the Thac Nong village Party branch, Son Nam commune Party committee (Son Duong district), "self-reflection and self-correction" is a crucial driving force for carrying out various tasks, successfully fulfilling political duties, building unity, strengthening the Party's prestige, and creating the strength for the village to strive to achieve the criteria of a model rural area.

Comrade Tran Van Nhan, Secretary of the Thac Nong Village Party Branch, said that during the thematic Party branch meeting on "self-reflection and self-correction," all Party members in the branch recognized that the leadership and guidance process sometimes lacked decisiveness. Party members sometimes did not arrive on time for Party branch meetings; young Party members rarely participated in discussions or expressed their opinions; Party members still showed signs of avoidance and deference in criticism and self-criticism... The Party committee needs to be closer to the people; while focusing on leading economic development, it should also prioritize leading the development of cultural life in the village, and implement solutions to create a clean and beautiful landscape and environment...

After identifying shortcomings, the Party branch discussed solutions to gradually correct and overcome the identified limitations. At subsequent Party branch meetings, they reviewed the corrected issues to evaluate, learn from experience, and continue making improvements in the future. As a result, the Thac Nong village Party branch is consistently recognized as a strong branch of the Son Nam commune Party committee. Thac Nong village was the first village in the province to successfully mobilize social resources to build a paved road over 1 km long with a budget of nearly 1.6 billion VND.

The Party cell of Hamlet 7, Luong Vuong Commune Party Committee (Tuyen Quang City), has achieved the status of "exemplary clean and strong" for four consecutive years. Comrade Le Quang Phuc, Secretary of the Party cell and Head of Hamlet 7, stated that the Party cell developed resolutions closely aligned with reality, assigning tasks to each Party member. Regular inspections and supervision ensured that all tasks and objectives were completed ahead of schedule. Tasks for 2023, such as revenue collection, environmental sanitation, urban road corridor protection, and the establishment of neighborhood fire prevention and control teams, were successfully completed within the first six months of the year.

Party branch supervision and self-reflection by party members have become regular practices at branch meetings. This approach fosters a greater sense of responsibility among party members. The branch consistently fulfills its annual tasks well, fostering unity between the Party and the people.
