Spanish TV station Chiringuito captured this moment. This isn't the first time Dortmund fans have employed this "tactic." A similar incident occurred in a Champions League qualifying match in December 2024, but Dortmund still lost 2-3 at home.
On social media, netizens believe that Dortmund fans are trying to distract their opponents. This is a way to psychologically unsettle Barcelona players and prevent them from performing at their best in the second leg at Signal Iduna Park.
The excitement surrounding the second leg of the quarter-final is building. Although Signal Iduna Park has a capacity of approximately 81,000 seats, the number of people booking tickets for the upcoming match is many times that figure.
The fervent support of Dortmund fans always makes any visiting team wary. Last season, the Bundesliga representatives were also runners-up in the Champions League. This further increases their appeal, helping to draw fans to the stadium to watch the big match against Barcelona.
