Land for rent to build a night market in Son Tra, Da Nang.

The location for the Son Tra night market is in a prime spot right at the beginning of the Dragon Bridge in Da Nang, and is being leased out at a starting price of just over 260,000 VND/m2/year.

On March 18th, Mr. Huynh Tan Quang, director of the Da Nang City Land Development Center, announced that a notice has been issued for leasing land for the Son Tra night market at land plots A2-4 and A2-5 with a starting price of just over 260,000 VND/ ^m² /year.

Previously, on March 14th, the Da Nang City People's Committee approved the starting price for short-term land leases to organize the Son Tra night market. The total land area is over 3,800 ^m² . Plot A2-4, covering over 2,200 ^m², has a starting price of 261,240 VND/ ^m² /year for short-term land lease.

Plot A2-5, with an area of ​​over 1,608 ^m², has a starting price for short-term land lease of 273,680 VND/ ^m² /year. The lease term is 3 years, with the purpose of establishing the Son Tra night market.

The lessee must ensure conditions such as having the capacity and experience to invest in and manage a night market or similar products and services, and committing to arranging business locations for the small traders (approximately 190 traders) currently operating at Son Tra Night Market who have signed contracts with DHTC Multi-Purpose Joint Stock Company.

Simultaneously, demonstrate sufficient financial capacity to invest in the Son Tra Night Market.

As previously reported by Tuoi Tre Online , Son Tra Night Market opened in September 2018 and quickly became a popular tourist destination, attracting large crowds of visitors, located just east of the Dragon Bridge.

This night market has a total investment of 4.2 billion VND, following the model of a pedestrian street and shopping street with over 150 stalls, including food stalls, souvenirs, handicrafts, jewelry, fashion items, handbags, etc.

The pilot period ended in March 2024, and Son Tra district began searching for a new location for the Son Tra night market. However, after considering that the current location was still suitable, it was kept at the original site instead of changing it as previously proposed.

Recently, this investment will involve auctioning off leased premises for a limited period at various locations.
