The 2026 World Cup finals have found 42/48 teams participating in the biggest football festival on the planet.

Africa: Senegal, Morocco, Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, Ivory Coast, Ghana, South Africa, Cape Verde.

How will the final 6 tickets be decided?

The remaining 6 places will be determined through the play-off rounds taking place in March 2026:

European Play-offs (4 places): 16 teams, including big names like Italy, Denmark, Turkey and Ukraine, will be divided into 4 groups. The teams will compete in a single knockout round to choose the final 4 names of Europe.

Intercontinental play-off (2 spots): Teams from Asia (Iraq), Africa (Congo), South America (Bolivia), Oceania (New Caledonia) and CONCACAF (Jamaica, Suriname) will compete for the last 2 tickets to the 2026 World Cup.
