Chairman of BIM Group passes away.

According to a representative from BIM Group, the memorial service will be held at the National Funeral Home on November 10th at 5 Tran Thanh Tong Street, Hanoi .

According to BIM Group, the company is committed to striving to continue building upon the values ​​that Mr. Doan Quoc Viet laid the foundation for. Currently, Mr. Doan Quoc Huy - Mr. Viet's son - holds the position of Vice Chairman and General Director of the group.

Mr. Doan Quoc Viet was born in 1955 in Hanoi. He graduated from the Mechanical Engineering Department of Hanoi University of Technology and then worked at the Institute of Electrical Engineering (formerly under the Ministry of Electricity). There, he researched the application of renewable energy. In 1986, Mr. Viet was sent by the State to pursue postgraduate studies at the Warsaw University of Technology (Poland).

In 1989, he started his career in import and export and established BIM Co. Ltd a year later. This company operated in the fields of trade, hotels, and restaurants. In 1994, he returned to Vietnam and founded BIM Group, simultaneously building the first privately owned 4-star hotel in Quang Ninh - Ha Long Plaza Hotel - marking the beginning of his career in Vietnam.

Mr. Viet has held the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of BIM Group to date. After many years of development, this enterprise is known as one of the largest multi-sector private economic groups in Vietnam, operating in four main areas: real estate; renewable energy; agriculture and food; and consumer services.

In the real estate sector, BIM Group is one of the ten largest project developers in the market with a series of projects such as Park Hyatt Phu Quoc Residences, Regent Phu Quoc, InterContinental Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort, Fraser Suites Hanoi, Sailing Club Residences Ha Long Bay, Holiday Inn & Suites Vientiane (Laos).
