Preparing personnel for the 14th Party Congress

Last week, the Personnel Subcommittee of the 14th Party Congress held its first meeting, chaired by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong – Head of the Subcommittee. Prior to that, at the end of February, the Document Subcommittee of the 14th Party Congress also held a meeting. Thus, at this point, the Central Committee has begun preparations for the 14th Party Congress, expected to be held in January 2026, on both of the most important issues: Documents and Personnel. According to General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, these two issues are closely related and both must be thoroughly prepared. The Party leader emphasized that preparing personnel for the Congress is of paramount importance and significance, as it is a factor ensuring the success of the Congress and the successful implementation of its resolutions.
