Along with other localities nationwide, Khanh Hoa province has prepared the best conditions for the commencement and inauguration of projects to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam. These are large-scale projects of significant importance aimed at developing energy security, transportation and urban infrastructure, agricultural production, and more.
According to the Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Construction, five projects are eligible for commencement and inauguration ceremonies to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam. The investors have identified locations and prepared the ground for the ceremonies; they have also made the best possible preparations in terms of material and technical conditions to hold the ceremonies in a hybrid format, combining in-person and online participation.
The projects scheduled for inauguration and technical opening include: Phuoc Thai 2 Solar Power Plant; Component 1 of the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway Construction Investment Project (Phase 1); and Song Cho 1 Reservoir.
The Phuoc Thai 2 Solar Power Plant (Phuoc Huu commune) has a capacity of 100MWp, with a total investment of VND 1,495 billion. It is part of the Phuoc Thai Solar Power Plant complex, invested and constructed by the Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN). Upon completion, the project will supply 168 million kWh of electricity annually to the national grid, contributing to the development of clean energy sources, reducing the greenhouse effect, and boosting the local economy .

Component Project 1 of the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot (Dak Lak province) Expressway Construction Investment Project has its starting point at the intersection of National Highway 26B and National Highway 1 (in Ninh Hoa ward); and its end point at Km32 (in Tay Ninh Hoa commune).
Upon completion, Component Project 1 will connect with Component Project 2 and Component Project 3, shortening the distance from Khanh Hoa to Dak Lak to 117km, contributing to transportation connectivity and creating momentum for socio-economic development in the South Central and Central Highlands regions.
The Song Cho 1 reservoir (Bac Khanh Vinh commune) is a large reservoir project in Khanh Hoa province, with a capacity of approximately 108 million cubic meters of water. The project is managed by the Investment and Construction Management Board of Irrigation Project 7 (under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment) with a total investment of 956 billion VND.
The Song Cho 1 reservoir and its downstream irrigation system, once operational, will serve to provide irrigation water for the Khanh Vinh, Dien Khanh, and Cam Lam areas; supply water to the Cai River; and provide water for domestic, industrial, service, and other water needs.
The projects registered for commencement on this occasion include: resettlement areas serving major projects of Khanh Hoa province and urban development and social housing projects. The Van Thang Resettlement Area Project, Phase 1 (Tu Bong commune), has a total investment of over 1,385 billion VND and is invested by the Provincial Development Project Management Board.
The total land area for the Van Thang Resettlement Area is approximately 99.89 hectares; Phase 1 covers approximately 70.14 hectares. This project is of significant importance in relocating people affected by key investment projects and other projects in the Van Phong Economic Zone and the former Van Ninh area.
The Cam Ranh Bay coastal project (North Cam Ranh ward) is being implemented by a consortium of Vinhomes Joint Stock Company, Cam Ranh Investment Joint Stock Company, and VinES Energy Solutions Joint Stock Company, covering an area of nearly 1,250 hectares with a total investment of VND 85,294 billion. The project is expected to accommodate over 230,000 residents. The product structure will include approximately 10,700 villas, over 8,400 townhouses, and nearly 20,000 social housing units…/.
