Groundbreaking ceremonies, inauguration ceremonies, and technical opening ceremonies for projects and works to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Party.

This morning, December 19th, the groundbreaking, inauguration, and technical opening ceremonies for projects and works celebrating the 14th National Congress of the Party took place simultaneously at 79 locations nationwide - symbolizing the 79th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's call for nationwide resistance (December 19, 1946 - December 19, 2025).

Attending the ceremony via video link were members of the Politburo: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man; Standing Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh ; Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Do Van Chien; Minister of National Defense, General Phan Van Giang; Standing Member of the Subcommittee on Documents for the 14th Party Congress Nguyen Van Nen; and Secretary of the Hanoi City Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc.

Also attending were members of the Central Committee of the Party: Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh; Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha; Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung; Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra; Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai; Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Vu Hong Thanh; Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, Lieutenant General Tran Quang Phuong; and Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh.

Also participating via video link were leaders and former leaders of the Party, State, and localities, as well as a large number of people from all walks of life.

Exactly 79 years ago today, on December 19, 1946, President Ho Chi Minh issued the Call for National Resistance, opening the path of our nation's unwavering and indomitable spirit to achieve great victories and develop the country as it is today.

The groundbreaking, inauguration, and technical opening ceremonies for projects and works celebrating the 14th National Congress of the Party are even more meaningful as they take place at a time when the entire Party, people, and army are striving to achieve accomplishments to welcome the 14th Party Congress, summarizing the 5-year period from 2021 to 2025 in implementing the breakthrough strategy for developing a synchronous and modern infrastructure according to the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress, affirming the socio-economic achievements already attained and creating new momentum and impetus for the next development phase.

The groundbreaking and technical opening ceremonies for these projects and works are being held simultaneously nationwide, connecting 79 locations, symbolizing the 79th anniversary of the National Resistance Day. These projects, encompassing all aspects of social life, embody the will, intellect, and aspirations of the Vietnamese people in the new era. They are the result of the leadership of the Central Party Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, the decisive direction of the Government and the Prime Minister, the support of the National Assembly, and the backing of all sectors of the population and businesses across the country.

The program, held simultaneously at multiple locations across the country, not only highlighted outstanding achievements in infrastructure investment and construction but also spread a spirit of emulation, responsibility, and aspiration for contributing to a rapidly developing, sustainable, and prosperous Vietnam. It is a vivid testament to the spirit of overcoming challenges and bringing lasting value to people's lives.
