The investigating agency has detained suspect Huynh Xuan Hung for investigation into two offenses: intentional infliction of injury and disturbing public order. The remaining six suspects have been charged with disturbing public order and placed under house arrest.
According to initial investigations, the Huynh Xuan Hung family and the Tran Thi Thuy Van (born in 1977) family had frequent conflicts during their time living together. Despite attempts at mediation by the local self-governing group, the disputes were unsuccessful.
At approximately 4:45 PM on October 11th, the conflict escalated, with individuals using weapons to attack each other, resulting in injuries to both sides, traffic congestion, and a serious disruption to public order and security in the area.
Currently, the Investigation Police Department of Dak Lak province is continuing to consolidate the case file to prosecute the defendants in accordance with the law.
