Final round of the contest "Studying President Ho Chi Minh's Testament"

On August 27th, the final round of the "Studying the Testament of President Ho Chi Minh " competition, organized by the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Bloc, took place at Thanh Hoa Radio and Television Station.

Comrade Tran Van Hai, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Bloc, along with representatives of the Organizing Committee, presented the first prize to the Thanh Hoa Tax Department Party Committee team.

Attending the opening ceremony and awarding prizes to the finalists of the competition were Comrade Tran Van Hai, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Bloc; representatives from the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Organization Department, and Internal Affairs Department, along with a number of provincial departments and agencies.

Comrade Tran Van Hai, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Bloc, along with representatives of the Organizing Committee, presented flowers to the teams participating in the final round.

The final round of the "Studying President Ho Chi Minh's Testament" competition featured 51 contestants and over 300 cadres and Party members participating in supporting the performances. These 17 teams, representing 17 grassroots Party organizations, were the winners of first and second prizes in the cluster rounds held from August 12th to 16th, 2024.

Ms. Dinh Thi Thanh Ha, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Bloc, delivered the opening speech for the final round of the competition.

Similar to the regional rounds, in the final round, the competing teams had to go through three parts: the greeting section; a presentation of a section of a will; and a question-and-answer session.

With boundless love and respect for beloved Uncle Ho, the contestants from all participating teams excelled in their presentations. In particular, in the presentation section, many teams demonstrated creativity in their presentation style by collecting relevant and vivid materials and illustrative images, and their singing and dancing performances left a positive impression on the judges and audience. These performances also helped viewers gain a deeper understanding of the content and meaning of the Testament, enabling them to apply it specifically to their respective sectors, fields, and assigned tasks.

A large number of youth union members and young people cheered and encouraged the competing teams.

According to the Organizing Committee's assessment, the competition was conducted seriously and in accordance with the regulations, attracting a large number of cadres and Party members of various ages. Many teams prepared quite thoroughly for their entries, using theatrical performances to incorporate many vivid stories about the beloved President Ho Chi Minh.

This is one of the practical activities commemorating the 55th anniversary of the implementation of President Ho Chi Minh's Testament and the 55th anniversary of his death (September 2, 1969 - September 2, 2024); it is a widespread political and social activity for cadres, Party members, and all strata of people in the province, aiming to review and affirm the theoretical and practical value of the Testament; and to express profound respect and gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh.

The Organizing Committee awarded second prize to the participating teams.

Through this competition, we aim to deepen and effectively promote the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style, build a clean and strong Party and political system, and harness the strength of the people of all ethnic groups in the province to build Thanh Hoa into a model province as President Ho Chi Minh wished during his lifetime.

At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to the team from the Thanh Hoa Tax Department Party Committee; the second prize to the teams from the Thanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Party Committee, the Thanh Hoa State Treasury, Hong Duc University, and the Thanh Hoa Transportation Construction Investment Project Management Board; and six third prizes and six consolation prizes to the participating teams.
