On the afternoon of June 1st, the Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site at the Presidential Palace organized a series of activities to express gratitude, remembrance, and profound dissemination of the great values that President Ho Chi Minh left behind to all people in the country and international friends. The event aimed to commemorate the 115th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's departure to seek a path to national salvation (June 5th, 1911) and the 100th anniversary of the publication of his work "The Revolutionary Path" (1927).
The centerpiece of the series of events is the international scientific conference "From the 1927 Revolutionary Road to the New Era of National Development" . This is a step in shaping a framework for in-depth scientific cooperation, implemented based on the 2025-2030 agreement between the Presidential Palace Historical Site and the Ho Chi Minh Institute of Saint Petersburg State University (Russia) and the Ho Chi Minh and Party Leaders Institute of the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy.
In his keynote address at the workshop, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Dao Cuong emphasized: In line with the consistent policy of the Party and the State, culture has always been the spiritual foundation, a goal, and an important intrinsic driving force for inspiring the aspiration for a prosperous national development.
According to the Deputy Minister, preservation should not only focus on maintaining the work intact, but also optimize the forms of promotion so that the light of Ho Chi Minh's thought continues to guide the way. The Ministry's leadership highly appreciated the innovative and long-term approach of the organizing committee in transforming theoretical research into practical products, creating a stepping stone to prepare early for the centenary celebration of the work next year.

International scientific conference "From the revolutionary path of 1927 to the new era of national development"
In her opening remarks at the seminar, Ms. Le Thi Phuong, Director of the Ho Chi Minh Presidential Palace Historical Site, recalled the historical milestone 115 years ago when the patriotic young man Nguyen Tat Thanh left Nha Rong port to seek a path to national salvation. On that arduous journey, he discovered the theory of Marxism-Leninism and summarized it in his work "The Revolutionary Path" in 1927. This work was the first theoretical blueprint, establishing the ideological foundation for the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam in the spring of 1930.
At the conference, scientists focused on clarifying the dynamic flow of theory and practice throughout the past century. From the core pillars outlined in the Revolutionary Path , such as the Party's leadership role and the strength of national unity, the Party has continuously supplemented and creatively developed these principles over 40 years of reform (1986-2026). These theoretical achievements have created a solid foundation for the Party to lead and govern a modern nation, enabling Vietnam to confidently rise and affirm its position as a developed nation on the international stage at the 14th National Congress and looking towards the middle of the 21st century.

The bilingual Vietnamese-Russian photo book "Nguyen Ai Quoc – Ho Chi Minh and Russia"
Alongside the theoretical discourse, President Ho Chi Minh's ideas were vividly realized through the launch of the bilingual Vietnamese-Russian photo book " Nguyen Ai Quoc - Ho Chi Minh with Russia ." This is a dedicated research project compiled and edited by the Presidential Palace Historical Site, featuring over 200 valuable documents, images, manuscripts, and artifacts. The book authentically portrays the touching stories and memories of his friends, comrades, and the Russian people about President Ho Chi Minh, a testament to a great symbol of international friendship.
Adding to the richness of the series of activities, an exhibition of 115 photographs of President Ho Chi Minh's activities in the Presidential Palace area was also inaugurated, showcasing remarkable documentary images about his life. The exhibition space became a bridge to evoke sacred memories, reminding each generation of the simple yet noble, approachable yet great life of the beloved leader.
This series of activities not only pays tribute to the contributions of President Ho Chi Minh, but also reaffirms the enduring value of his ideological legacy in the new era of national development.
