Thuong Quan bananas are large and have an attractive appearance.

Currently, Thuong Quan commune has about 60 hectares of banana plantations, yielding approximately 100,000 bunches. With selling prices at the farm ranging from 350,000 to 650,000 VND per bunch, banana cultivation brings in over 35 billion VND in revenue for the local people. The highest-earning families make 600-700 million VND per year, while many families earn 300-400 million VND per year from banana farming.

Although the yield and selling price are only equivalent to 2023, this year, Thượng Quận bananas have superior quality, with large, attractive fruits, making them popular in the market. To enhance the value of this agricultural product, Thượng Quận commune is aiming to build a brand and establish a traceability label. Currently, Thượng Quận bananas are distributed throughout provinces and cities such as Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Thai Binh, Bac Ninh, etc., to meet the Tet holiday demand of the people.
