(CLO) On March 9th, Tien Phong Newspaper, Military Hospital 175 , Hung Hau Development Joint Stock Company, and Van Hien University jointly organized the 17th annual "Red Sunday" blood donation program, "Donate blood to save lives - Your life and mine," in 2025.
Speaking at the event, journalist Phung Cong Suong, Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong newspaper, remarked that blood is not only the source of life for every human body, but also a "special medicine" that saves countless lives in critical moments. Although we are living in an era of leaps forward in science and technology, humanity has yet to create this miraculous medicine. Only compassionate hearts and a spirit of sharing can lead people to donate these precious drops of blood, helping to revive lives.

The "Red Sunday" blood donation program, themed "Donate Blood to Save Lives - Your Life and Mine," is organized annually by Tien Phong newspaper in collaboration with various organizations, businesses, and schools. Its purpose is to promote voluntary blood donation and address the severe blood shortage at hospitals during the Lunar New Year holiday. "Red Sunday" has been held for 16 consecutive years and has become a reputable and widely disseminated voluntary blood donation movement.
