Although the first week of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has come to an end, the heat is still not cooling down. On social media, the phrase "Coachella 2025" is currently a hot topic of discussion among fans.
Coachella is the world’s largest music and arts festival, held annually in California, USA. This year, the event lasts two weeks, with week 1 from April 11 to 13 and week 2 from April 18 to 20.
Once a defining symbol of music culture, Coachella has faced many challenges since the COVID-19 pandemic, such as falling ticket sales, lack of artist appeal, and apathetic audiences. However, in its first week, the festival has proven that it is still a place with top performances where music and art blend perfectly.

The highlight of this year's Coachella stage was the return of Lady Gaga after an eight-year absence. The singer was the headliner at Coachella 2017 when she replaced Beyoncé at the last minute, but her performance was not highly rated.
In 2025, Lady Gaga is determined to "take revenge" at Coachella with a promise on Instagram that she will deliver a complete performance that she could not do 8 years ago. True to her promise, Lady Gaga delivered an explosive performance with a stage filled with red lights and 22 songs lasting 2 hours.

Built like a pop opera, Lady Gaga chose a dark style, leading the audience on a journey like Alice lost in a nightmare wonderland through a series of songs Bloody Mary, Born This Way, Bad Romance...
Unlike Lady Gaga's extravagance, Charli kept her Brat-era minimalist style, appearing alone in sunglasses on the Coachella stage. Notably, the singer did not perform alone but invited her close friends on stage.
Among them, Troye Sivan contributed vocals in Talk Talk , Lorde strode with Charli in the meaningful Girl, So Confusing and finally exploded with Billie Eilish with the vibrant song Guess .

Notably, in addition to US-UK stars, Coachella 2025 will also feature K-pop artists. Since BlackPink's explosion at Coachella 2019, K-pop music has become an indispensable part of the world's biggest music festival.
Leaving the BlackPink label, Lisa and Jennie confidently rocked Coachella as solo artists.
On the night of April 11, Lisa transformed into a "catwoman", bringing to the stage a total of 14 songs with her own personal mark.
Not to be outdone, Jennie appeared on the night of March 12, performing 13 songs continuously, saying "this is like a dream".

Coachella 2025, however, had its low points. Despite high expectations, Travis Scott’s performance left the audience disappointed, according to ABC News . His 30-song set was directionless, gloomy, and poorly written.
"Travis Scott barely interacted with the audience. The songs were over-edited and tired. The auto-tuned raps lacked warmth, making it hard to call this one of Coachella's best headline performances," ABC News commented.

Not only impressing with the music, Coachella 2025 continues to be an "art paradise" with large-scale works by Paris design studio Uchronia and Stephanie Lin - director of TSOA School of Architecture.
Every year, Coachella partners with the Public Art Company to curate three unique designs to create new experiences and connect the contemporary art community with the music community.

Three large-scale artworks created by renowned architects and designers have been installed throughout the Coachella festival grounds, enriching the space alongside top international music performances.
Take Flight is inspired by early 19th century aircraft. Standing 18 metres tall, the work is covered in colourful, wind-powered propellers.
Another striking piece is Le Grand Bouquet by Parisian Studio Uchronia. The designers drew on the floral motifs of the Flower Power era of the late 1960s and early 1970s to create a desert garden with a 10-meter-tall centerpiece with a blue-painted metal stem and smaller flowers surrounding it.

Finally, Stephanie Lin - director of TSOA School of Architecture brought to Coachella 2024 a work consisting of 7 wave-shaped cylinders made of metal mesh.
Rows of seats are arranged windingly below the foot of the towers, creating a relaxing space for attendees to sit, rest and admire.
The hollow towers are cleverly designed to catch the sunlight at different times of the day, creating a constantly changing lighting effect, turning the building into a vibrant visual symphony.

"These three works are like members of the same artistic family, although they have separate personalities and ways of expression, they also have interesting points of intersection.
Each project explores the concept of time, while opening up unique, interactive experiences that are captivating in their own way," Stephanie Lin shared about her design experience for Coachella.
