This sporting event, organized by the Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, is expected to attract nearly 100 amateur tennis pairs. Participating in this tournament, the players will experience a truly community-oriented playing field, and the entire meaning of the event is geared towards serving the community.

At the "Circle of Love" Pickleball Tournament, the Organizing Committee will solicit donations from philanthropists, sponsors, and athletes to raise funds to support poor students, impoverished patients in emergency situations who cannot afford hospital fees; to assist poor people, those severely affected by natural disasters; and homeless people celebrating the upcoming Lunar New Year (Year of the Horse).

Medals from the "Embrace of Love" tournament will be awarded to players who reach the semi-finals in six events: men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles in two age groups: 18-44 and 45 years and older. A seventh competition category has been added at the suggestion of many artists and celebrities, and is expected to be a highlight attracting the attention of a large audience and fans.

The medal is crafted from solid metal, with one side engraved with images of a racket, ball, and net, along with the bold word "pickleball" – symbolizing the benefits this sport offers to practitioners. The front of the medal displays the name of the tournament along with the events in which the athletes competed. The colorful medal ribbon reflects the international character and the explosive growth of this sport, which is trending not only among young people but also among all those passionate about pickleball.

The championship trophy set for the winning pairs in the 7 competition categories will be the most meaningful item, the ultimate goal for all athletes. A stylized image of an athlete is placed on a wooden platform, with half a crystal pickleball aloft; above it is a racket accompanied by the words "Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper" - the organizing unit of the tournament.

Artists compete

Having previously served as an ambassador for the first Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper Pickleball Tournament in 2025, actress and singer Minh Hang continues her role as ambassador for this year's tournament, contributing to promoting the image and name of the event.

Not only that, Minh Hang also introduced the competition to many artists, models, and celebrities in the art world who have been involved with pickleball for a long time, giving them enough confidence to compete and determine their skill level.

To date, the celebrity-artist category has 12 pairs registered to compete. Fans will have the opportunity to witness familiar faces who have been actively performing on stage now showcasing their skills on the pickleball court.

Besides the two ambassadors Minh Hang and Loi Tran, the pairs Dong Anh Quynh - Huu Long, Tumi - Tran Nghia, Mac Hong Quan - Nguyen Cam Van, and Ung Hoang Phuc - Kim Cuong promise to liven up the "Circle of Love" tournament with both their pickleball skills and their excellent acting abilities.

The "Circle of Love" Pickleball Tournament - organized by Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper in 2025 - is scheduled to take place all day on December 13th at the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Culture Palace pickleball complex (55B Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street, Ben Thanh Ward) with a total prize pool of nearly 100 million VND and gifts.

The registration fee for participating in the competition is 1 million VND per pair. In all categories, the prize for first place is 6 million VND and a trophy; second place is 4 million VND and a medal; and joint third place is 2 million VND and a medal.

In addition, the Organizing Committee will give out extra gifts, depending on the actual situation.
