Announcing the Prime Minister's decision to approve the Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee

(Chinhphu.vn) - On the morning of September 25, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee held a conference to announce the Prime Minister's decision on personnel work.

On behalf of the Party and State leaders, Provincial Party Secretary Nghiem Xuan Thanh presented the Prime Minister 's Decision to comrade Nguyen Khac Toan.

At the Conference, the Provincial People's Committee announced the decision of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on approving the election results for the position of Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term for comrade Nguyen Khac Toan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

Previously, at the 2nd Session of the 7th Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council held on September 16, 100% of the delegates present elected comrade Nguyen Khac Toan to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

Speaking at the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Nghiem Xuan Thanh expressed his belief that comrade Nguyen Khac Toan will excellently fulfill the assigned responsibility, meeting the trust of the Central Committee and the expectations of cadres, party members and people in the province.

Comrade Nghiem Xuan Thanh suggested that immediately after taking office, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Khac Toan should quickly grasp the whole picture and focus on key and breakthrough tasks. Based on the inheritance of achievements and experiences, it is necessary to innovate leadership and direction methods drastically and effectively. The focus is to review and complete the Action Program of the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress (2025 - 2030), develop a detailed implementation plan in the spirit of "6 clear"; soon complete the Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050 to maximize the development space.

At the same time, focus on implementing the Resolutions of the Central and the province on science and technology, innovation, digital transformation, private economic development, education, and health. Effectively implement Resolution 01 of the Provincial Party Committee on double-digit economic growth in the period of 2025 - 2030 with 4 pillars: Industry, energy, tourism - services, urban - construction. At the same time, remove 3 bottlenecks: Policy mechanisms, human resources, backlog projects; innovate public investment allocation, avoid spreading, focus on breakthrough projects for socio-economic development.

Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Khac Toan pledged to connect and accompany the Provincial People's Committee to always innovate thinking and action, put the interests of the country, homeland and people first, promote the tradition of solidarity - discipline - creativity - determination - efficiency; uphold the spirit of responsibility, dedication, devotion, and effort to bring Khanh Hoa to breakthrough development.

Comrade Nguyen Khac Toan (born in 1970, hometown in Dong Ninh Hoa ward, Khanh Hoa province) has a bachelor's degree in Judicial Law, bachelor's degree in Party Building and State Administration; senior political theory.

He has held the following positions: Chief of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Office; Secretary of the Cam Ranh City Party Committee; Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board; Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council. Comrade Nguyen Khac Toan is an alternate member of the Party Central Committee, 11th and 12th terms.
